I thought it strange, paying into his account,,,he stated it was his personal account,,, as I thought that would be a simple way to get caught, given  phone and bank records are kept.

A lot of people on here would consider this to be an example of corruption ,  but in Thailand , not so , they have a word for this type of situation...

That price went up to 1,800 for the bus and 2,400 for mini van last week.

Guess there was insufficient demand for the service , hence the need to increase the fare.

But on the bright side the journey takes 15 hours is instead of 12.

They know that I am in Thailand , as they sent the letter to my Thai address , furthermore several months ago I had occasion to speak to them on the phone and they knew that I was in Thailand , as I had received a tax rebate by cheque from IR and somehow they must have shared my address info with DWP.

So . I was pleasantly surprised to receive this years pension increase.

Strange thing happened today , received a letter here in Thailand from DWP informing me of my of my pension increase.

Has the UK state pension been un-frozen for Thailand?

The new increased amount (by 2.5%) was paid in to my account today.

Anyone else received this?

Only buy from authorised or reputable dealers in Thailand , it's not worth the risk to buy privately here.

also , prices of genuine Rolex watches don't deviate much from market prices can check through chrono24 , if it is selling at a price at anything like 20% or willing to accept offers less than mkt. value , then high probability of it being either fake or Frankenstein.
