Cannabis cookies - which dosage, which source in Jomtien?
Peabody replied to henrik2000's topic in Thailand Cannabis Forum
I use 14-21g of small bud trim, yielding about 900-1200g of cookie. Eat 40-70g for a nice buzz. Theoretically, the max yield at 20% THC would be ~3.5mg THC/g of cookie. That would be 140-245mg/session. Assume losses: some during decarb, some during oil/butter recovery, maybe bud not at listed 20% minimum, so maybe actually consuming 70-120mg/session @50% of theoretical. I think I have a high tolerance, as smoking 2-3g/day. I decarb and extract in a small machine that I ordered on Amazon and a friend brought over from the States. One batch paralyzed me after I ate 70g. Usually, solid buzz if eating in the afternoon. If I eat at 2100, I get great sleep and feel a bit woozy in the next AM. I don't trust the stated quantities on any commercial product in Thailand. Too many variables. Looking at Henrik2000's post above, with different potencies listed on the front and back of the package, is about the level of accuracy and consistency I would expect from commercial products. -

I have no doubt that slightly under the average will be set as the starting base weight. Go over, pay more.

If you are listening to music - What's Playing ? (2023)
Peabody replied to CharlieH's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
This should be the Thai Expat Anthem. 🙂 Watched "Palm Springs" with Adam Sandler. It's a nod to Groundhog Day. This song plays over the credits and is uncredited. Man Stupid Being (S.E. Rogie) Let me give you a little experience Of some young chickens of today I’m gonna give you a little experience Of some young chickens of today They are full of disappointments They are never never on time They don’t keep to an appointment They don’t hesitate to lie They will tell you this when they mean that I wish I could keep them apart But as a man, how can I? These women, necessary evil -Ah man, oh man, yes man stupid being Their 5 PM is 10 AM Their Monday is Wednesday And when you try to chastise them They'll never come your way The only time they'll keep to an appointment Is when in desperate need hey will tell you all sorts of lies Just to get what they need And man, being so stupid Would give them all they need Forgetting all the disappointments And all the previous lies Ah man, oh man, yeah, Man yeah, man yeah, man yeah I say man, stupid being **(Trouble Willie, play that guitar, boy, play it! And that's Lawrence on the bass guitar With Rogie, of course, on the rhythm, and vocals)** Those who make themselves look like angels In them you find the devil The most beautiful, the most intelligent The illiterate, the ugly, and all the rest They are all one and the same thing Full of deceit and lies They are always looking for a big shot: There's the man with the cash on the spot There's the man with money or the biggest car He's the sweetest take in town Ah man, oh man, man stupid being Man yeah, man yeah, man yeah Man yeah, man yeah, man yeah Man stupid being Well man yeah, man yeah, Man stupid being Man, me, man, man, man, man, stupid being Man, man, man, man yeah, Man, stupid being Man yeah, man yeah, man yeah, Man, stupid being Man yeah, man yeah, man yeah, Man stupid being. -

New ‘Monopoly: Chiang Mai Edition’ board game now available
Peabody replied to snoop1130's topic in Chiang Mai News
On the old NanaPlaza.com board, a group of us tossed around ideas for the BKK version. We would have used different tokens (tuk tuk, etc). Lots of great ideas for the Chance and Opportunity Knocks cards were tossed around! You can imagine what some of them would have been! Squares would have included Nanaplaza, of course, Cowboy, Washington Square, etc. IIRC, there were some odd rules about the copyrights. -

Autonomic?? -
My Thai ex-GF was given a 10 year, multi-entry 1st time. However... We were able to show a long-term relationship, both through social media posts and mail that came to the same address in each of our names. In addition, we had extensive travel around SE Asia and also a month in Australia. She was a student, no home ownership, no income, only support from me. We made photocopies of our entry/exit stamps from both of our passports showing we traveled together many times (>12??). Establishing that we had a relationship and that she depended on me was key. I showed my work permits and contracts over many years of stay in Thailand. Even though I am US citizen, I was able to establish that I was returning to Thailand. Probably 80 or so pages of documentation. Also, this was about 10-11 years ago. She was working in a bar in PTY when I met her, but that never came up in any context.
