I was at immigration last week, seated next to an IO. He had a sheaf of maybe 30-40 A4-size computer printouts, each with a name, photo, picture of passport, TM30 copy, mobile#, email, blah, blah, blah, and, at the top right corner, the number of days overstay. The numbers ranged from just TEN DAYS to almost 400 days. The 400 days, not so surprising, but they were ready to take a guy down for a mere TEN DAYS!

Same. I sit on my balcony and watch the goings on at Pattaya Beach, go out for groceries, Benjamit Coffee (!!), massage, pay bills, watch Netflix (on the balcony at night is best), make bread and ice cream and cheesecakes, video chat with friends and relatives around the world (somebody will always be up, 24/7), eat various meals out several times/week, deal with the ornery- immigration, DLT, banks (OMFG...BANKS!!), walk along the beach, and growing a few vegetables.

I keep reading "picked up by the smart car". What do these expensive vehicles actually do? Ride around and wait for the smart car to detect the aura of those on overstay?

May or may not be courteous, but in your case, it would certainly be appropriate.

I have a 1-year lease on a condo in PTY. When I applied for my O visa at Jomtien in August I needed a copy of the owner's house book AND the owner's work permit!

My friend called the immi hotline to ask if a 15 day wait period was now mandatory for extending an O visa based on retirement. "Which office?", they asked. "Jomtien". 2 minutes on hold, then person returned and said, "Jomtien is free to make their own rules.", so that was that.

Note: he already has his non-O. He is applying for his first extension. Thought that was receive day you apply, up to end of O visa. Retirement basis

I always thought that if you have a non-immi-O visa, you could walk in and receive your first 1 year extension on the spot , even up to the expiry date of the non-O. A friend recently told me that you need at least 15 days remaining on the non-O to apply for your first extension. Anybody else experience this?

I am currently doing an indoor grow of Wild Thai, the landrace strain from Ko Chang. 5 different phenotypes. Grown from clones made from mom plants originally from seeds from Serious Seeds. Will knock it back to one pheno after analysing yield, high, flavor, smell, etc.

So when did you stop smoking? I ask because I want to know when the drug-addled dead brain starts to become normal again? Obviously hasn't been enough time for you.

Chopped a sickly looking Gorilla Bomb today. Shaking the dirt off its roots and found this disgusting thing. Worst thing was, I thought it was an old Jiffy Pot or something and picked it up to look.
