  1. Teaching fiction in schools. I guess it’s only to be expected considering the majority of western msm promotes fiction anyway.
  2. Hundreds, if not thousands of posts and videos on this forum alone showing Russian assets being blown up, from the Black Sea to hundreds of kms well within Russia proper, thousands of square miles of territory being recaptured, hundreds of troops being encircled and killed, practically all air defence systems destroyed, billions of dollars being poured into the effort, major Russian companies on the brink of bankruptcy, Russia’s economy on the brink of collapse, tens of thousands of sanctions, overwhelming majority cheering Ukraine on. On the other hand, an occasional video by @BobBKK of a bomb dropped on some building in Ukraine… If I obtained my news from AN, not only would I think that Ukraine is winning convincingly, I would think they have already won lol.
  3. I see you have regressed from content free posts to meaningless posts.
  4. I’m curious. From your numerous CFMPs, you seem to have something against communism. Why is that? It’s just another form of governance like democracy and socialism. Also, you probably don’t realise it but officially, Russia is no longer a communist country so you need to buy a new crayon set.
  5. I don’t understand all this fuss about the F-16s. Apparently Ukraine is winning the war convincingly with its ATACMS, Himars, Storm Shadows.Scalps, Patriots, cluster ammunition, Leopards, Bradleys, Challengers, Abrams, drones, the Ghost of Kiev (what else have I missed?) By the time the Ukrainian pilots are sufficiently trained to pilot the F-16s in a proper manner, not just taking off and landing, the Russian Ruble will be rubble, the economy will be in tatters and the military will be dropping washing machines instead of Fab3000s and infantry fighting with dual use shovels from China and Russia will be 200 individual countries (as per Du(mb)da) anyway.
  6. Have you petitioned your government to stop mining and selling coal?
  7. I have the combi leaf blower and grass trimmer set. Problem is that the battery runs out very fast with the leaf blower. I need to find somewhere to buy a 40 volt battery.
  8. I prefer supporting an economy that spreads peace and goodwill around the world and helps developing nations grow and prosper as opposed to ones bombing them. Apparently, the CCP economy also produces a lot of solar panels and electric batteries which are apparently good for the climate. I read that somewhere but one never knows what to believe nowadays.
  9. I wonder if it was an OEM charger or something bought off Lazada?
  10. Mid 2010’s. I decided to get rid of my then partner and get a new one. I decided to go for another female as I don’t fancy French kissing another male and I wasn’t adventurous enough to go for a ladyboy.
  11. Fascinating. Can you also kindly post videos of other electrical appliances catching fire? It’s mesmerising to watch.
  12. There will come a point when there’s nothing left to sanction and the west will be left holding the bag, finally realising the damage they have done to themselves. The latest sanctions on transshipment of LNG to the rest of the world will only result in job losses in the European community, angering countries that are buying this LNG such as India, turning more countries against the west. China will continue to benefit with cheap LNG from Russia. It is estimated that by 2027, China will be enjoying up to 40% discounts compared to Europe. Lower energy prices coupled with lower labour costs and high efficiency will be another nail in the coffin for European industries. All of this just to prop up the US MIC. Happy days.
  13. You are rather naive. The BOC has to do whatever it needs to, for now, as it’s a major player in world finance and like it or not, the SWIFT system is still where most international trade is happening, for now. You are probably unaware that there are 50 other Chinese banks that are planning to transact on SPFS and CIPS, bypassing SWIFT altogether. Sanctions work, until they don’t.
  14. Meanwhile, on an Asean Now poll, only 12.9% of of an extremely biased and pro-Ukrainian audience thinks that Ukraine will win…
  15. Very clever people, them…(insert uneducated ex-mechanic remark here).
  16. And you are totally incorrect because you believe the western propaganda and narrative as to the reasons behind this SMO (Special Military Operation). Putin is not interested in gaining territory. Why bother? Do you realise how big a country Russia is? One of his aims is to de-militarise Ukraine. You do this by wearing down your opponent, in a war of attrition, which he is doing very well, at the same time, keeping his casualties as low as possible. An unexpected bonus has been that the west is being de-militarised as well. I don’t think he, or anyone else, realised how weak NATO actually is. It has also shown up the pitfalls and shortcomings of having a privatised, for profit, MIC. The big winners are the major countries of the global majority who are just getting stronger while the US pays $50,000 for a shovel that China makes for Thb 100 and sends to Russia..😂
  17. This is so glaringly obvious that I’m amazed that so many on here can’t see this. Or “won’t”? Some even go so far as to claim that Ukraine is in fact winning. What planet do these people live on? Which “experts” are they listening to? Reminds me of so called China “experts” like Gordon Chang who predicted the coming collapse of China within months, 15 years ago lol.
  18. Choosing to fire 5 (?) ATAMCS with cluster ammunition during daylight hours in the vicinity of a beach where civilians are known to gather. You can say what you like. The rest of the world can see what’s happening.
  19. All these posts about percentages as to who wants what is, imo, meaningless non information. There is a lot of misinformation out there about EVs and this undoubtedly influenced some people’s minds about wanting an EV or not. Videos about negatives of EVs probably outnumber positive videos by about 10:1. It’s safe to assume that the average car buyer is not really up to speed with the latest car technology and is content to stay with something tried and tested. All this talk about home charging and range is probably way too much for them to want to think about and in their minds, not worth the bother as they are unaware of the benefits. Those of us who own EVs and are happy with our ownership have done our research, analysed the pros and cons and decided that it’s the better option for us, our needs and circumstances. EVs are a relatively new technology. Not every 70 year old would exchange their wife of 45 years for a new sexy young 25 year old. Similarly not every car owner would want to exchange their tired, old, under performing, unexciting, flatulent ICE for a scrumptious new EV.
  20. This forum seems to me to be a microcosm of the real world today. You have on one side, the group that feels everything they say and do is the only RIGHT thing and that everyone must subscribe to their views. Opposing views are ridiculed, lambasted, criticised, drowned out, disallowed. Insults and name calling are the norm, from heads of states down to the lowest peon on AN. Loads of disinformation and propaganda and demonisation of the other side. The two sides are too far apart to ever see eye to eye. Too much damage done, all trust and respect completely eroded. The world is clearly dividing along these lines. On one side, an unipolar system, claiming fairness, justice and equality, claiming democracy and freedom yet hypocritically exerting its influence by means of military and economic threats, unilateral sanctions, containment policies, obvious provocations, outright theft of assets and resources. The list goes on. On the other hand, the other side quietly goes about its business, forging ties and alliances in a win win fashion, cooperating where possible, aiding where necessary, never trying to export its ideology to others, non interference being the norm and resolving disputes with dialogue and diplomacy. Which side will win out? It’s clear as day. Won’t happen overnight of course but the shift is gaining momentum by the day. I’m happily sitting back watching the tsunami gather pace until it washes over whatever is in its way.
  21. Ukrainian officials have defended the strike in the wake of the attack, calling Crimea a legitimate target. Mykhailo Podolyak - a top aide to President Volodymyr Zelensky - said the peninsula was in effect "a large military camp" which he said held "hundreds of direct military targets, which the Russians are cynically trying to hide and cover up with their own civilians". Sounds suspiciously like something the IDF would say in killing hundreds of Palestinians. And using cluster bombs? Aren’t these supposedly designed to kill rather than to destroy buildings?
  22. Yes. And I remember saying that if I owned an US made EV, I would definitely not purchase another one. American consumers are missing out on owning amazing, value for money Chinese made EVs. Maybe the US government is worried that its citizens might realise how far ahead China has leap frogged America in innovation and technology.
  23. What word/s would you use to describe the above? Enlargement? Encroachment? Growth? Extension? Or maybe reduction or contraction?
  24. This conflict wasn’t meant to last as long as it has. Putin had calculated correctly that Zelensky would have capitulated within days and an agreement reached. What he hadn’t calculated on was the war mongering neo-cons in Washington scuppering the deal and the Europeans being so weak as to allow the destruction of their own economies and depletion of their own arms and ammunition to support an unwinnable war. Russia has no choice but to see it to the end as this is perceived by it as an existential threat.
