And only half of it then.
Basically you have to have a balance of 800K for 6 months of the year (3 months before extension and 3 months after) and then a balance of 400k or more the rest of the time.
In practical terms if your living costs here average around 65k a month then you need to bring in bring in almost 1.2 million 3 months before your expiration date.
Since they are requiring substantial amount of funds deposited which cannot be spent, big question in my mind is: will they allow it to be in a fixed deposit so at least it gathers more interest?
Also - when does this take effect? I have been using the 800k method and, naturally, spending it down as the year passes and balance right now is already under 400k.
????
I'm pretty sure my 800K is in a fixed rate deposit a/c and has been for 12 years or so. has there been a change to this rquirement ?

Awful result for Thailand. I thought that the throw in, (prior to the penalty being given) was against the laws of the game, he threw it into the ground.
The Penalty call was also very unlucky, the Thai defender couldn't get out of the way of the ball when it hit his arm, which looked to be by his side, to me. Not many refs would have given that.
The rest of the game was dreadful, from a Thai perspective. India are no great shakes, football wise, but made Thailand look like beginners. The Thai goalkeeper had a nightmare game. Has the coach resigned or been sacked yet ?
Where do Thailand get their coaches from ? Most of them I've never heard of before. -

The Thai Wiki article is quite comprehensive.
Can't tell whether it is sufficient.

This site seems to have seven chapters ("snooker rules"):

No, I don't. It's unnecessary and often without merit. It's also against the forum rules.

I subscribe to several UK magazines, (football & music), have done for over 20 years, they always arrive on time, with no problems. Same with all my other post, they postman comes several times a week, and he always sounds his horn to let us know he has been, as our postbox is at the end of a 50 yard drive. I live out in the sticks in Phetchabun. Our local Postmaster is a really nice fellow, very helpful, and always has a chat about the Premier League when we go to post anything.

Why ? So I can teach my Thai Nephews and Nieces to play. Is there any need for the Thai-bashing ? The family I married into are mostly decent folks, who don't drink, gamble, or expect me to pay for everything.

I've used Thai Post for 20 years, and never had a problem, what is it with Thai-bashing on this forum ?

Clyde Best is the first black player i recall, back when we wondered if British black players would break through. Now we're still waiting for asians to breakthrough.
There was Lindy Delephena, who played for the Boro, Portsmouth & Mansfield Town, between 1948 and 1960.
There was Michael Chopra, who was of Indian descent, who played for Newcastle, and Cardiff, among others. -
I've kept my 800,000 in a fixed rate savings acccount with the Bangkok Bank for twelve years, and have only ever made one withdrawal. it's never been a problem at renewal time.

Perhaps if Lego wasn't so massively over priced, then the competitors wouldn't be able to sell fakes. How much can it cost to make a Lego brick, (given that they've been around for over 50 years)?

No, it´s not any facts on that laughing has a bad effect on your fellow humans.
Yes, must be extremely fun to create a negative effect on other peoples health. Your comment is a pillar for society.
Why, if you drink beer, it´s not affecting somebody else. If you can hold your liquer, that will say. if you can´t, beers of the table.
"Why, if you drink beer, it´s not affecting somebody else".
Absolute rubbish !
Drinking causes more problems in society than anything else. Drunk drivers kill innocents on a daily basis, in most countries in the world. Go to any British town on a weekend night, and see the effects of drinking, on the behaviour of people.- 2

We've organised a family BBQ at the weekend. The plan was for the women to do the cooking, and sit and chat, while me and the other men / boys play snooker and darts, (though the women can play if they choose too). Then I remembered that there was a big crackdown in Pattaya, a while back, about licences to play darts. Do I need to get one for this ? There will be no gambling involved, it's all just for fun.
