  6. If only the Trump naysayers would do a little research. "The nomination deadline for the Nobel Peace Prize for 2025 was on 31 January. Members of the Norwegian Nobel Committee may add further names to the list during their first meeting, which this year was held on 28 February." https://www.nobelpeaceprize.org/press/press-releases/nominations-for-the-nobel-peace-prize-2025

  9. Are you joking, or just in denial...or probably a troll? Why don't you look up the cities with the highest crime rates and report back

  19. And I'm sure other blue cities underreported as well, and I wonder why Duck.ai Blue Cities That Underreport Crime Some cities, often led by more liberal administrations, have been accused of underreporting crime statistics. This trend can stem from various political, social, and economic factors, including the desire to project a positive image or to avoid criticism. Factors Behind Underreporting Political Pressure: Local governments may face pressure to show improvements in public safety. Resource Allocation: Budget constraints can lead to understaffed police forces, affecting how thoroughly crimes are recorded and reported. Community Relations: Efforts to foster better relationships between law enforcement and communities might lead to more leniency in reporting crime. Examples Here are some cities often cited in discussions about potential crime underreporting: San Francisco High property crime rates, concerns over reported vs. actual incidents Policies aimed at reducing charges for non-violent crimes may affect reporting Seattle Increases in drug-related offenses reported but questions around overall crime stats Efforts to address homelessness have influenced crime response Chicago Violent crime underreported in certain demographics High-profile crime incidents raise concerns about overall reporting accuracy Conclusion The conversation around crime reporting is complex and deeply intertwined with local politics, community dynamics, and public perception. These instances highlight a broader discussion about transparency and accountability in crime reporting.
  20. Your cut/paste of the article seems to highlight a part of the story. In the same article (from your link): "It examines monthly, half-year, and yearly rates of reported crime for 13 violent, property, and drug offenses in 42 American cities that have consistently reported monthly data over the past six years. Please note the following limitations: The 42 cities are not necessarily representative of all jurisdictions in the United States. Not all cities published data for each offense (see the Appendix for which cities reported which offenses), and trends in offenses with fewer reporting cities should be viewed with extra caution. In addition, not all crimes are reported to law enforcement, and the data collected for this report are subject to revision by local jurisdictions." So it appears their analysis is limited in scope as it's not representative of the highest crime areas.
  21. Yet those cities have been run by Democrats for years...and still suffer the same conditions without any improvement. The OP implied it has been Trump's fault yet the Dems running these cities haven't done anything to improve the quality of life for there constituents. Nice deflection from the topic at hand however.
  22. (Duck.ai) 4 out of 25 are Republican controlled. But nice try saying it's mostly Republican cities 🤔 Here's an updated table of the top 25 cities with the worst crime rates for 2025, including the predominant political party in each city: Rank City Violent Crime Rate (per 100,000) Key Crime Issues Predominant Political Party 1 St. Louis, MO 1,178.0 Homicides, aggravated assaults Democrat 2 Detroit, MI 1,324.5 Homicides, motor vehicle theft Democrat 3 Baltimore, MD 1,229.0 Homicides, robbery Democrat 4 New Orleans, LA 1,135.0 Homicides, aggravated assaults Democrat 5 Memphis, TN 1,143.0 Homicides, aggravated assaults Democrat 6 Cleveland, OH 1,078.0 Homicides, robbery Democrat 7 Kansas City, MO 1,200.0 Homicides, aggravated assaults Democrat 8 Oakland, CA 1,057.0 Homicides, motor vehicle theft Democrat 9 Las Vegas, NV 923.0 Aggravated assault, property crime Democrat 10 Chicago, IL 990.0 Gang-related violence, robberies Democrat 11 Philadelphia, PA 905.0 Homicides, aggravated assaults Democrat 12 Indianapolis, IN 865.0 Homicides, shootings Republican 13 Milwaukee, WI 895.0 Homicides, aggravated assaults Democrat 14 Newark, NJ 872.0 Homicides, property crime Democrat 15 Tulsa, OK 810.0 Aggravated assaults, property crime Republican 16 Atlanta, GA 791.0 Homicides, aggravated assaults Democrat 17 Louisville, KY 780.0 Homicides, domestic violence Democrat 18 Pittsburgh, PA 769.0 Burglary, theft Democrat 19 Cincinnati, OH 670.0 Homicides, aggravated assaults Republican 20 San Francisco, CA 745.0 Burglary, theft Democrat 21 Minneapolis, MN 720.0 Homicides, aggravated assaults Democrat 22 Washington, D.C. 700.0 Homicides, robbery Democrat 23 Seattle, WA 650.0 Property crime, drug offenses Democrat 24 Oakland, CA 870.0 Property crime, violent crime Democrat 25 Cincinnati, OH 670.0 Homicides, aggravated assaults Republican
  23. Because those democratic cities are the only places where lawlessness is prevalent....and where the local administrations refuse to enforce the law.
  24. Glad his presidency makes your life miserable. Just think, you have over three years to go to be in a state of angst and I look forward to your constant pain.
