  1. Hello all,

i have not been saying much on this thread lately, due to the fact that i was speechless. I still am.

    What a defeat against Sch....alke.

At least stuttgart and leverkusen did not win, so the uefa- cup is still in reach, but in the current form..... i doubt it.

I believe now it doesnt really matter anymore, when the new manager is annouced, its too late already, just let it be a good one. The problem is, he doesnt have the time and the money to build up HIS team.

    Thats all for me today.

p.s Lotusbluete...there is a way to watch all games online, you only need a good internet connection and some software. pm me for info.

    regards

    Timo

  2. Hello Lotusbluete and all the rest,

slaven bilic, recently renewed his contract with the national team, so he wont be our next manager. Looks like we are all in for a surprise. The first two in the german league automaticially go to the champions-leaugue, the third will play a qualifier.

I live in bangkok and fortunately have a fast internet connection, so i can watch all hamburg games live, online.

Well, we can only hope that HSV beats the bootom table Duisburg on saturday to reclaim 2nd place.

  3. Hello Chilliwasabi,

as i understand it, please someone correct me if i am wrong. The issan dish you are referring to, has the same kind of problem( it happend to be also one of my favourite dishes). The blood is not entirely cooked, you may call it warmed up. So if it is nam tok muu, it seems to be dangerous, same seems to go for the gua tiao muu nam tok as the cooking or Not cooking method of the blood is the same.

The question is still out there....will the same dishes with beef contain pork or beef blood??

    anyone?

    regards

    Timo

  4. Hello thaigerd,

i for one love your postings, or even more the pictures attached to them....if it is food postings. Only problem i always have to eat right after opening them... and i am not half the cook, by the looks of it.

    looks lovely.

  5. Hello,

went there yesterday( we ordered two 18" pizzas) and have to say...i am impressed with the friendly staff and of course the pizza is much better than pizza hut or pizza company. Two things though, i agree it could have a bit more sauce, also they were not enough of the toppings on there. We ordered two " hells kitchen" pizzas and it was hard to find the olives and the pepperoni...in fact there was no more than 2 pieces of pepperoni per slice... maybe it was because we got there just before closing time, still shouldnt happen as if you look on the webpage they say..the toppings were the most important to the pizza

but apart from that.... i would go back..

  6. Hello all,

i have had the same problems and still have. All the banks safety deposit boxes in my area and more areas are sold out and there are huge waiting lists.

I brought mine back home, have copies with friends and of course for myself.

    regards

    Timo

still have the problem, as in home country is not a perfect solution, in case you need them quickly.

  7. Hello all,

the secret for me is to book hotels always from one of the big travel companies in my home country, in my case germany. They always have cheaper rates, as they buy bulk rooms for the season. I am living in Thailand, but even for my holidays here, i go through the big companies in germany to find extremely cheaper prices.

this time i went through http://www.holidaycheck.de/, 10 days ago they offered a standard room at the bayview for 27 euros, today its 37 for a superior, so its a daily search for the best deals, but overall always worth to look and book from your home country.

    regards

  8. Hello,

i stayed at the bayview georgetown last week, not the cheapest option, but you can book it online cheaper than the walk in rates. I was happy with it. Its very central, close to many thing in georgetown.

i paid 127 ringit, booked it online. I beleive walk in rate is aroung 160.

    regards

    Timo

I've noticed in this forum that a lot of you are wayyyy out of date on your hotel rates. City Bayview now is 204 ringgets or $68 and those are the facts. I dont wanna know what the walk in rate is now. http://directrooms.com/malaysia/hotels/bay...penang-2048.htm

Cititel is just even worse with a rate of 238 ringgets for stays from Oct 12 forward.

    http://directrooms.com/malaysia/hotels/cit...g-835.htm#rates

These rates are for the dirt cheapest rooms which frequently are booked, the next cheapest rooms are 15% higher. I get the feeling by reading the rates people post in this forum that they stayed at these hotels looooooong ago. I stay in them quarterly so I am on top of current rates and the skyrocketing jackups they have engaged in the past year or 2

as i said, i stayed there last week, and i did pay 127 ringit for a standard room, walk in for that one was around 160. Deluxe was 175.

so i was not there loooong ago, but last week.

    regards

    Timo
