Where to get a blood pressure test in Pattaya
Sheryl replied to shdmn's topic in Health and Medicine
Arm should be level with the heart. That is not usually an issue with the hospital machines but calibration often is. -
It could be from several causes, most of them leading to a drop in cardiac output. It is essential that you see a doctor soon for further investigation. Are you on any medications? Any history of heart disease? Any unusual fluid losses (sweating, diarrhea) prior to this?

3 tabs a day, spaced at least 4 hrs apart, is OK unless you have impaired liver disease. I'd take the 3 doses until you are feeling OK then try decreasing to 2 doses spaced 8-12 hours apart. If that isn't tolerable then you'll have to revert to tramadol capsules and divide contents in half to get 25mg. You can get empty gelatin capsules on Shoppee or Lazada. You are making this unnecessarily for yourself difficult by not consulting specialist.

There are medications which can help with withdrawal as previously mentioned. These are largely not pain killers but will help control withdrawal symptoms. However this is not something to do ond your own, it is complex. You need to see a physician specializing in addiction pyschology. There is an excellent one in Bangkok. If you have already switched from 3 × 50 mg tramadol to 3 ultracet a day you have already reduced your intake by about 25%. Do not try to rush this process or to stop abruptly that's a prescription for failure.

1. There is no right to import pharmaceuticals by mail, and in fact it is illegal without an FDA license. 2. Pharmaceuticals are not exempt from import tax. In fact significant duty is levied on imported medications which is why they are so costly in Thailand. Medical appliances also are not exempt from import tax...regardless of how necessary they may be.

Not a public kiosk. But pharmacy staff have machine (in the case of real pharmacies staffed by actual pharmacists) Yes, Fascino would be worth a try Boots and Watsons here sell mainly cosmetics and toiletries. Tiny pharmacy counter with only very limited supply. -

Many larger pharmacies will do this for you. Real pharmacies, not Boots/Watsons etc. -
It is normal to feel run down for months after dengue, and this is what is usually meant by Post Dengue Syndrome. However sounds like your situation involves more than that. The onset and/or flare-ups of Fibromylagia is often preceded by a viral infection. Many different viral infection have been so linked and, as the mechanism is probably related to the immune response, the specific virus is not that significant. No reason to think Fibromyalgia onset after Dengue is any different than after Epstein-Barr etc. Dysphagia is a symptom, not a disease. What is the cause of your dysphagia? I have never heard of any linkage between pulmonary fibrosis and dengue. That is an odd assortment of diagnoses you seem to have (Fibromylagia, pulmonary fibrosis etc). Where, by whom and how where these diagnoses made? Especially the pulmonary fibrosis? Are you a smoker? How old are you?

Dermatology clinic in Chiang Mai for skin screening
Sheryl replied to rapidwtr's topic in Health and Medicine
Stand alone skin clinics here are focused on cosmetic procedures and acne. Definitely not skin cancer. Skin cancer is rare in Thais and few dermatologist here have expertise in it. This doctor at CM Ram is one of the exceptions, having trained and practiced in US https://www.chiangmairam.com/searchdoctor1?major_id=main_type8&doctor=43 -
There really isn't much market for counterfeit saw palmetto here. Not enough for it to be worth anyone's while. ED drugs etc yes this sort if supplement, no. I buy supplements like fish oil, calcium etc online all the time. Never had a problem. But I don't see Permixon brand in Lazada or Shopee.
-
No and that pharmacy (Chula) is a good choice for actual pharnaceuticals. However what you are taking is an hetbal supplement (Saw Palmetto). These are usually best bought online from Lazada or Shoppee. Dose equivalence may be an issue. I don't think you can find Permixon brand hete.

Several inappropriate/unhelpful posts have been removed. @Mason45 If you are certain they are warts (as opposed to hemorrhoids, fissures etc) then Pulse Clinic as other poster suggested, is a good choice. If not sure then need to see a colorectal specialist.

Any large pharmacy that is staffed by a first grade pharmacist at all times. Try one of the 2 Fascino branches to start with. Or this pharmacy https://www.facebook.com/PharmakonThongJiTungPhesachakornPrasit/ They will limit how much they sell at one time. And might ask for ID (by law they are supposed to keep record of sales)

US Citizen living in Thailand needs insurance for trip to the US
Sheryl replied to garet's topic in Health and Medicine
Would likely depend on how long you had been in US, and also on the size of the claim. When you get the policy you have to state duration of the trip to US. If you still have a valid Thai visa and have been in US not more than the indicated length of your trip I doubt there would be a problem. -

US Citizen living in Thailand needs insurance for trip to the US
Sheryl replied to garet's topic in Health and Medicine
Health emergencies can strike unexpectedly and medical care in the US is astronomicslly expensive. ...even for more minor ailments which he would also want to be able to get treatment for as needed. -
There are more than 10 brands of Naproxen in Thailand. Just ask for Naproxen, any pharmacist will know. Brands of esomeprazole are: Nexium Axiago Esomeprazole Mylan Esomeprazole is expensive. Omrprazole is much chesper, available in several locally made brands.

Neither necessary nor advisable to take these very strong bowel preps regularly. Among other things will indeed upset gut flora. And in any event OP seems to have constant, severe constipation needing some sort of assistance on weekly basis. Which is not normal.
