I have had a non O visa based on marriage, and every 90 days I need to stop by immigration to confirm that my address has not changed, some offices permit this to be done by mail.

I have not had to leave the country since getting my non O visa years ago!

I am surprised I am the first to tell you this.

Many on TV bitch about the inconvenience of a 90 day check in, but it is really no big deal.

The trip to the office will probably take more time than the visit to the office itself.

I am sure the TV experts will correct me if I am wrong,

But I see no reason for you to leave the country at all!

Relaxed immigration regulations for long term expats.

Government will show appreciation of long term expats for helping the Thai economy by awarding them 100,000 THB at each yearly visa extension.

No more 90 day reporting, unless you want to stop by and say" hello".

All jobs, volunteer and paid will be opened up to expats , with no work permits required.

Traffic laws will be enforced and it will be safe to travel on Thai roadways.

The BIB will start wearing looser fitting uniforms and become more relaxed themselves.

Law enforcement will be paid a good living wage and realize it is not worth taking tea money and putting their good jobs in jeopardy.

When I stood directly in front of her, quite near this morning she glanced away. I got two Wais out of her when she realised I wasn't going to go away. I'll see what happens tomorrow.

The school principle sometimes wais me, sometimes not but everybody gets that treatment.

States Abolishing Death Penalty at Record Pace

This is way over due.

i believe the USA is about the last " first world country" to still use capital punishment.

In recent decades DNA testing has proved that many innocent people have been wrongfully excucuted.

Saying " Oops! We're sorry!" really doesn't help.

At my school, I wai all teachers if they are my superior or not, and always have out of respect for them and their culture.

At a teacher's meeting recently it was mentioned by the director that some foreign teachers do not wai and that it is unacceptable and very rud not to..
