I am married to a Thai and have been in the country since 1997,each year extending a one year supporting a Thai wife visa.This year i applied for an extention on 15th August,which is also the 90 day reporting day.Do i report 90 days from then?I have not left the country for many years.

On the 15th August applied for another years extention and 30 days later got the approval.The guys in immigration did not put any reporting date in the passport this time so is it 90 days from applying for extention or 90 days from receiving approval.

I would pop down your local village distillery and ask where they sourced their equipment.

Had a huge influx of English teachers to Nong Khai to take exams last week and some of them spoke excellent English, although all with a slight American accent.Must be watching the American sitcoms on UBC.

Hmmm.Watched the old satellite imagery on the news this morning.O dear.The path is through the middle of Isaan and then on to the North.

Udon,the Mekong has actually been falling for a couple of days now.It got as high as the third step from the top but is now down to the sixth.Heavy rain every night but not up stream i guess.

Ground here is starting to get waterlogged,lots of standing water around.

Can you imagine the size of the pile of paper they must have in Bangkok.Each year tens of thousands submit copies of their documents.Cannot imagine they would ever find anything.Put it all on computer,i do not think so.

Normally have gentle storms up here,but this year very violent and almost everyday.

As a man the visa extension process is not a problem as i hope it "weeds" out some of the undesirable types.I cannot imagine there are many farang women here who fit that category.Or are there?All the farang women i have met here have been charming and honest.

the Thai immigration can also supply a similar document (a bit more difficult to get)

If you go to Nong Khai immigration it is no problem at all and i was in and out in fifteen minutes.It's free too.
