  1. sbk, thank you for such a precise and timely answer.I am quite used to getting mauled in the other side of the forum. :o

My friend is as sweet as they come but knows little of what she will have to do being married to a Thai male.I hope i can pick your brain occasionally so that i may smooth her path a little.

  2. A dear friend of mine has recently married a Thai male .I understand its a far easier life than UK male with Thai wife when it comes to visa extension.Or is it?What are the differences for a UK lady with a Thai husband here currently on a three month non immigrant O.What do they have to show immigration?

She's afraid of computers so i will ask the question and pass on the feedback.Thank you.

  3. Well here in Nong Khai we had a wild night.Holy shit. The only time that comes even close was October 1987 in London.Winds like i've never seen in Thailand.Trees down everywhere and roofs missing. We're OK.All along the main road is hazardous due to tree limbs blocking the bike lane and so bikers swerving out into the traffic flow.

  4. The locals here would be doing cartwheels if someone gave the family 6000 Baht a month.Thats a wage for two adults working a long hard day.Now if you want to give them a huge Sony TV then sure it's not enough.

  6. It's not a "normal" thing to do to up sticks from the Uk and travel 6000 miles and live in a rice field.Got to be some strong force behind the move.Certainly a lot running away.Me,it's health reasons and an England that fills me with sadness.
