Baht buses control the speed of traffic. Very useful.

2 cars coming in opposite directions on soi 11 (aka Soi Honey) is ridiculous.

I know Darryl, Lam Morrison, and Goobergun are on Friday night from 18:00 but very strange that Snowman (Ken Minahan) is not playing this year. In my opinion, he's the most recognized foreign musician in Pattaya. I wonder if he's in the doghouse?

Also not playing is Graham Peter Sears who is a long term expat and bass player extraordinaire.

Anyone know the schedule and if other foreigners are on?

I only heard about this wonderful event at the last minute and had a brillian time. Unfortunately there was so little PR and I saw no other mention of it except in an expat newletter.

Ran into my old mate Raro the moderator at the show. Did he let everyone know about it?

I am led to believe the gold getup is so that the crazy drivers don't crash into him. I've heard worse ideas in Pattaya (unmanned lifeguard towers, not a single posted sign about jet ski scams, 4 helmetless primary school students on a single motorbike being waved along by uniformed police, no beer sales in the afternoons at supermarkets, etc.).

What about McDonalds on 2nd road at The Avenue shopping center?

Coffee World in Central shopping center also has wifi.

Secrets bar on Walking Street 14 is open 24 hours/day and definitely has wifi and air conditioning.
