  1. It's a matter of where you go... a Thai friend of mine is owner of several shops around Pattaya and her girls now very well that not only are they not allowed to chat with each other (or the customers) when their are other customers around, furthermore they also know how fast they are on their way out if they don't follow the rules...

and just to say... no moaning and groaning in the shop, as no "extras" are offered...

Would you please recommend these shops? Sounds amazing. Thank you.

  2. No the cops will not say anything, I suspect they like to 'keep' foreign owned bikes, so please someone give me an idea where the lockups are?

I believe I know. Please send me your phone number.

  3. To me, the words tranquil and massage go together.

There's one shop near the corner of soi 15 and Buakow which I've been a long time customer. I had a great relationship with the Thai owner who ran a tight ship. The girls were extremely respectful (fearful ?) around her and you could hear a pin drop day or night.

The owner sold to one of the girls and sadly now it's a case of the inmates running the asylum. I won't go in there unless I have my Ipod or I simply cannot relax due to the inane chatter. It's weird to me because it's not beyond the wit of man that massage = relax but to the bored girls and some customers, it's a time to ham it up. Now I see the lips moving but hear none of it "Somying, did you eat your papaya salad yet?" etc.

  4. RUN! This is your best advice.

    Why?

Because unless you have witnesses willing to corroborate your version of events (and then there's still no assurance you'll come out ahead), the charges are laid against you and only you.

By law, if 2 men/women fight, each are charged 500 baht and are left to go on their merry ways.

If a woman fights with a man and is hurt in the process, the negotiations begin...

    You've been warned...

  5. That's a shame. Cherry's obviously wishes to maximize their space. So if they bring you your bill unrequested, simply pay it when you're ready and tip if you wish (I wouldn't). If you pay your bill on delivery, then they know you're not ordering anymore drinks, rendering you obsolete. I think you did the right thing to keep on chowing down. Did anyone else seem to receive this eviction notice?

  6. I completely understand it.

Men can lose in business but I suppose the ego is irrevocably bruised when it's at the hand of the farmer's daughter. Also, for many, going back to where they came from is either impossible (legally) and/or extremely unbearable.

  7. I dined in tonight. I'm still coughing from all the smokers. Total 6 tables. Portions are not as they appear in the photos. Growing pains. He is not connected to any other Greek food establishments in Thailand. So don't expect your souvlaki pita. He has some small bread pieces for 20 baht. The tzaziki was ok but the plate tiny. All I've mentioned I've discussed with the owner. I had the 5 doner sticks which were very tasty and only 100 baht.

  8. Just met with the owner. It's on the same soi as PP body massage and adjacent to the Greek stall on soi Buakow. It's soi 21 b/n Buakow and 3rd.

The restaurant has 4 tables and the portions are massive. They have about 6 tables and everything is made from scratch. Great prices too. Massive tzaziki plate for 120 baht. 5 souvlaki sticks for 100 baht.

    Check it out!

  9. You can buy new for 800 baht at Tesco Lotus today. New and functional. Then you can donate it to the orphanage before you go home.

Soi Lenkee rents too for 300 baht/day. I have an unused bike if you want to borrow it. Tires need air but it's great for getting around town.

  10. More info = Better results.

I mean do you want the tiny little bars you find in cheap Hotels in bulk?

Are you wanting this as a gift type thing you will be sending/bringing back home or do you just go through a lot of soap?

Also hard to say what is in-expensive if comparing with thousands of different types of soap as in do you want fragrant, Natural, skin care etc. etc.

You really should put a little more effort into your quest and maybe we can help. Been here a longggggggg time and can get everything in bulk but of course it all comes from Bkk.

Long time? Then you ought to be familiar with the standard sized Parrot brand soaps.
