Thank you.

I have several Kasikorn accounts. I opened my first in Bkk on Sukhumvit near Emporium and was asked to show my work permit. I do not have one but I have several accounts so I was permitted to open a new one. Otherwise, not.

Are the parks safe at opening/closing hours when it's dark? Some parks open at 05:30 and close after sunset. Is it safe for a woman alone?

Any recommended cycling shops on Sukhumvit? Thank you.

Other than traffic, know any?

What are the options here? I find laundromat prices a little steep here as they don't make deals ie: 500 baht for 80 pieces.

Hello from Pattaya. The average price is 500 baht for 70-80 pieces. Have you ever seen any bundle deals in Bkk? Anything around Suk 22? Thank you.

Here in Pattaya, there are so many publications offering inexpensive or free advertising.
Pattaya People, Pattaya Trader (mostly real estate but widely read general classifieds), Pattaya Mail, and Pattaya Today to name a few.
Anything similar in Bkk?
Thank you.

try couchsurfing.org which pairs locals with travelers.
You can be a guide and/or a host/ess. This could be very fulfilling. I have hosted about 100 people!
The Bkk scene is alive and well if you wish to join their forum.

I've recently become a fan of Oishi Grand Buffet (Discovery Center - 2nd floor). The buffet is massive with choices of freshly made and served to your table or help yourself options. All very fresh and nicely presented.
I'm no expert but I believe they have different prices for different times of the day. I've only gone on the night shift which was 600 baht per person but if you love cheese and sashimi like I do, it's good value. Pattaya is 500 baht.
I'm told there's an Oishi near Victory Monument for only 300 baht.

I drive a small motorbike but I need to get this to Bkk and I thought "why not drive it myself?"
Driving at 100 km/h, how long do you think the trip would take (approx.)?
Anyone with experience?
Thanks.

I have a book case and a big comfy chair (type used in massage parlors) that I would like to donate to the orphanage. I do not have a car for transport. Do you know anyone who might be interested in helping me transport these items? Thank you.

Fund raiser at the hilton confuses me because that's not an inexpensive venue to rent.
