  1. I hope, that before they are deporting him, he has to stay a year or two in "Bangkok Hilton" because he entered Thailand illegally and than they can send him home, with a big stamp "Never to return to Thailand" clap2.gif

what a nasty man you are,,,,,did he hurt your feelings in some way,,????,,,,,coffee1.gif

No I am not nasty, but I see him as an illegal migrant and not as an assylum seeker or political refugee. We have laws and rules if we enter a foreign country and the one who does not stick to the rules, should get punished and that is it. thumbsup.gif

So 'NASTY' would these rules or terms in prison be official ones or ones you've just made up. mm nasty.

  2. “We took him to the Phuket Immigration Office for further questioning and found out that he used a fake passport with his own photo to enter Thailand on April 1,” said Capt Angkarn.

Would not be clever to use a fake passport with a photo who isn't yours!! how clever are these cops??

    #tonneke breda

They must be clever enough as they did catch him?

  3. credit to Pattaya One for finding out all details immediately:

Mr. Alexander was incensed and decided to employ the services of a Russian-led Hit Squad who were paid to abduct and then kill Mr. Janik in a remote area outside of Pattaya.

This is a hit Russian hit squad?: "The men wore balaclavas and were armed with stun guns and a hammer.". I suppose they were going to use the hammer to nail him to a table and tickle him to death. bah.gif

You watch too much cartoons on the telly, in the real world it only takes one blow with a hammer to the correct part of the head and you are dead.

  4. ''The Esperanza, the largest vessel in the Greenpeace fleet, joined more than 200 Thai fishing trawlers in placing buoys across a 60km stretch of the sea in this southern province to conserve marine life in the Gulf of Thailan''..........

Are these the same fishing trawlers that are accused of all sorts of atrocities against their Cambodian and Burmese crews in an earlier article in Thai Visa ?

  5. I went to BPH last week to get a quote for a scan on my knee and was told that it would cost 20,000 Thb.about 500 euros. I got a friend at home in Ireland to get a price for a scan in a private hospital there and it turned out to be 250 euros ,,, 1/2 price so Thailand is not the place any more.

  6. No but Aeon has fee free withdraws .... the amount is different because the rate changed between your withdrawing not because the rate is different at each machine or bank.

    Thank you! wai2.gif

I'd happily pay the 150Thb. rather than stand behind a line of Thais at an Aeon atm. I think they are paying bills or something, you think one is finished when all of a sudden he whips out another card and starts again.
