  1. Red cup is awfull "coffee" if thats what you can call it.

Your opinion only & thanks for sharing it with us.

Valuable contributions such as that really make informative reading for all TV readers.

Anything i can do to help ,its just i like coffee ,not the sweepings at the end.biggrin.png

  2. Yesterday it happened again ,i was in mike's to get a new pair of trousers and was looking when the girl insisted on pulling pairs out ,even after i had asked her nicely ,as did my wife to let me just look and i will choose myself, but she just would not stop ,so i said that i would get them somewhere else and walked off . i just cannot understand their mentality to keep on when told politely to leave you alone .

  3. Soon the Bankokians who wants to buy here are saturated..

Then we see a lot of discounts coming up for these thousands of 30 sq meter condos..

Because I think few expats wants to live in these chicken-boxes permanently...

Oh please. I've got 74 sq. meters. Imagine what that would cost in Manhattan or Tokyo and how many people would want to live in such a "chicken box" in those places. This is a city. It is urbanized. People live in small spaces in cities.

Yes but thats only 50% bigger than our bedroom in my house, and its Pattaya not Manhattan or belgravia in London

  4. I have seen bikes running over a lost helmet, and going down many times. A prime example that government enforced regulations do more harm than good. Time to abolish mandatory helmets, also considering that these ill-fitting plastic thingis for 150 Baht don't offer protection, in case of an impact they get out of place or come off anyway. If you want protection, buy a bicycle helmet for the motorbike. They stay in place.

Bicycle helmets would not be any better than scate board helmets or construction site helmets or a plastic ice cream container even if cheaper and they did stay on the head. What they need first is a brain that needs protecting.

Unfortunatly it seems that not many motorbike riders in Thailand have said brain.

How often have you seen it ,a bloody crash helmet in the middle of the road, that some stupid moron of a motorbike driver has dropped because he had it on his handelbars rather than his stupid head ,yesterday i was happily driving down sukhumvit when there was one in front of me with the motorbike rider standing at the side of the road ,well i hit the bloody thing and dragged it for hundreds of yards untill i could stop ,get it out from under the car and throw it over a fence .,why wont they wear the bloody things? ok rant over.

  6. Thanks for the heads up. A market, just what we needed.

You can never have too many markets -- they are what keep the Thai economy humming (at least for the Thais in Thailand). It won't end until every square inch of Pattaya is covered with condos, markets and bars -- true equilibrium. "you find paradise and they put up a parking lot.....".

Forget the markets ,now parking lots ,thats something Pattaya could do with.

  7. HSBC uses hardware token generator devices for their online banking but unfortunately they have shut down their retail banking biz here in Thailand..

That's a shame I was rather hoping to use HSBC as well. They still have a presence in Malaysia I believe but that's no help to me.

dont bother hsbc are useless ,sorry worse than useless, when i came to Thailand i opened an account with them ,waste of time and effort.

  8. Uk is finished get over it.

Thats what happens when immigration runs wild.

Enock Powell had it weighed up years ago but they didnt listen.

Now your more likely to be asked where you come from at Heathrow by someone in a turban.

    RIP England

Ha ha ha - racist, xenophobic rubbish - and you can't even get Powell's name right ! Pathetic.

No he is not a racist or a xenophobe,he is just telling it like it is ,the doors of Britain have been thrown open to allow the flotsam and jetsom of the world to come in and get something for nothing ,and if you cannot see this its because the likes of you let it happen ,and i am certainly not racist ,my father came from Europe to fight for Britain in the war and i am proud to be married to an Asian ,pity Britain was not more like Thailand with its immegration policies.

  9. You are having a larf the old crone was the one who sold off British manufacturing to make more profit for her cronies at the expense of the british working man who she despised.

You must be joking.. working man..... overpaid undereducated unionised.

Thatcher was the Prime Minister and a PM's job is to run the country for the

benefit of all. Firm negotiation would have paid dividends in the long

run but the "Iron Lady' let her detestation of the working class take

precedence over her duties revealing a nasty spiteful side to her

nature. She eventually lost the support of her fellow Tories but by then

it was too late, the rot had set well and truly in. She was too confrontational to unite the British people.

There were days when the words 'Made In Britain' were a hallmark of

quality. This was due to the skills and endeavours of the British

    working man.

I'me a Brit and was around when Maggie was in charge ,dont make me laugh "the skills and endevours of the working man" they were always going on strike the car industry was a joke , the miners were greedy and led by a madman (scargill) he destroyed them and now lives on a fat pension ,she came from a working class background as did i ,God i wish we had a Pm as good as her now, then she could stand up to Crow and his cronies who want the public sector ,who already have good jobs ,retire early with gold plated pensiones to go on strike . ungratefull lot.

  10. Our sponsors, will have it delivered. have a look HERE .

    OR

    http://i.nvade.it/2Ni

Thanks. What i am looking for is similar to the cusinart one on the sponsors page. Only.. in australia you can get something like this for about $20 (kmart brand) or about $50 - george foreman brand etc. Not spending 10,000 baht on one!

The invade it - thats not what i want. Thats a grill, not a health grill. A health grill is like a sandwich toaster it heats top and bottom and it presses into the meat to get the fat out

Several years ago I tried to buy a G F grill couldn't find one I bought one on a visit to Australia and carried it back.

I did this from england ,you just can't find them here ,cost about 20 quid.
