  1. As I am currently outside Thailand in the UK and the town has like about hundred charity shops, browsing, buying and trying to make a few quid on ebay. Some you win , some you break even, but few games and toys picked up for £1 that sold on ebay for £100-130 each. Can't complain - pays the wife's rent and school fees for the family
  2. Yes I hope the selfish pleas of all the unemployed, homeless and bahtless Thai people due to covid are also treated with caution too !!! Open up now, no restrictions the economy of every country on the planet needs it. Flash you jab info at the airport and be done with it. This insanity cannot continue
  3. 6-7 million ? If that's the case he better make sure the testing continues to decrease to make sure it does not show up or the TAT will come a knocking due to Thailand being on every country red list
  4. Sure that's great news for the millions of Thais unemployed, destitute, homeless and bahtless !
  5. In Thailand you can fall in love every day ! (or even hourly). This time next week, you'll be saying that it was just a phase and now you've found the real thing.
  6. Must have a turn style counter on the way out adding to the number of 'ins' !
  7. Think headline should read CCSA Maintains poverty and destitution for millions in Red Zone Provinces
  8. The fact China probably destroyed the entire planets economies by ignoring health security gives me little faith in that statement of public health security meaning anything
  9. Looks like a train carriage used to carry the Japanese officials to sign surrender in WW2 seventy odd years ago ! Should be on Antique road show
  10. If I could take my wife and kid to my riverside UK home town now along the Thames, then I would not be staying in Thailand - covid allowing.
  11. It's a real sham really ! I have a house I can go isolate in in Pattaya if required. I can send the wife and daughter to Nan visit the parents or sister in BKK for two weeks after she stocks up all the cupboards for me to use in 2 weeks, yet I am not allowed to do it. Sometimes it seems more money driven than health driven
  12. Until Thailand comes off certain red lists , tourists from there aint coming even if they re-opened fully tomorrow
  13. Generals should concentrate on military and police matter - not running countries. Mind you once they have filled their pockets and emptied the coffers enough they may step aside for a few years.
  14. Getting the feeling my 5 year old daughter will be nearing school leaving age when the schools reopen at this rate.
  15. Oddly the TAT does not mention when Thailand goes down in the freedom and democracy rankings
  16. Maybe they are just upset about the sheer number of luxury cars privately owned by the police force officers ?
  17. Sounds like the Crassus syndrome is alive and living in today's Thailand
  18. had it a few months ago on my Lloyds bank account when sending some money out. But I'm sure I've had it before then too
  19. I imagine as they failed to get them last time, pressing charges is all bluster and no action
  20. I'm sure the Phuket restaurants and businesses will be overjoyed at losing what little tourists they actually have. People are not coming because Thailand only has a few places open, they are not coming due to restrictions of entry. Spread the butter any further and the bread will just be dry
