Pheu Thai and Bhumjaithai announce deal to form government
RichardColeman replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Any government that gets the full support of the 250 senators is bent or corrupt - end of. A government formed by these people is not what the electorate voted for - least the last coalition got over 300 MP with no senators, this lot have only 65% of the the last lot trying to form a government but can do so with block junta votes. Corrupt to the core. No democracy in Thailand- 80 replies

Spanish Chef Confesses To Murdering Colombian Surgeon

I would seriously like to hear from people who do not believe in the death sentence as to why this individual should be spared a bullet to the head and not waste thai taxpayers money. Maybe they need a new chef in the prison ? -

Wonder what religion did this vile act. -
The way that this laughable senate had been made up by the power hungry Junta, quite literally means that to win the parliament you have to win 376 seats in the election for their to be no contest and the army puppets not effect any vote - that means you need to win 377/500 MP seats = approximately 75% of the electorial votes. I am not sure that I have ever seen or heard of any democratic country where the single party forming the government won 75% of the public vote. The senators are just doing what they have been paid to do - elect another army mam

Bangkok is the world’s most visited city this year
RichardColeman replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
So, half way through day 4 they had had enough of the city and run off ! Bangkok is about as attractive to me as London. 1 day is too long. -
So, the new laws could change the Thai catch phrase to : Rich Bad Guys In, Poor Good Guys out ! Surely a better idea would be to say that nobody of any nation can apply for a retirement visa if they have any serious offences or convictions in the past....say 5-8 years. Money has absolutely nothing to do with a person being good or not.

German Man Threatens to Jump from 8-Storey Condo in Pattaya
RichardColeman replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
I wonder if he jumped from that height , hit the bag and bounced up and hit the balcony above and died if that would be suicide, accidental death or manslaughter ? -
The perpetrator, a 28 year old man known as Sathian Ap-Srirom, acknowledged his wrongdoings. He revealed that, in his jealous rage, having caught Pailin secretly seeing another man, 1. Wonder if he will acknowledge it when offered a 30 years sentence 2. We only have his word now as the other side is extinguished, but nice he blames her for her own death basically
