You only have to look down your street to see evidence of the debt - nearly all Thais have high range expense cars and pick-ups. I have tried to no avail to explain to the wife, the people earning the same amount in the UK would be lucky to afford a clapped out old Banger from Arthur Daily
Disagree - if the cost of being caught in teen violence is automatic service in the army for 5 years it might die down a little. Problem is we live in a liberal society these days that does not punish these feral people as we used too
Whilst I do not drive a motorbike - or car for that matter - I would certainly more hug the curb than the middle of the road and risk a road death if I did - that said I'd probably die in a thai open sewer accident !
I'm still for a law on any perp being forced to consume ALL their illegal wares within 48 hours of arrest and then let go, chances are if they survive they wont do it again
The only party that can be voted in is one that benefits the senators. Maybe a PM candidate should publicly state he'll pay them off richly to do a hike
If the 250 non voted in senators are able to vote as block to vote someone in, then it is clear they are just waiting for someone beneficial to them, not what the public voted for. Public Democracy is currently dead in Thailand
I live in Pattaya with my Thai wife, her family is from Nan and they all still live there, that's probably 800 KM by road.
We do not have any issues with family - probably due to that same 800 KM !
