How about stating the figures from begining of February or March to end of September? The pandemic didn't really take hold until February although the the esteemed Chinese arrivals did slow in January as they fought the virus they created. Now the traditional 4 months of high season are ahead and likely zero meaningfull arrivals until next March. How many trillions of losses by then? The next 4 months probably bring 50+% of tourist revenue as Thai weather is good, Christmas, New Year, Chinese New Year holdiys fall and the northern hemisphere seeks to escape the cold and dark. 3 trillion as final figure for losses anyone?

Best selling winter destinations for Europeans are the Canary islands, Cyprus and Crete and lots of bookings for the islands in the Caribbean. Australians can't leave their country and if the Chinese can't come the high season will not be very "high".

Oh dude I ate the food and feel fine this article is bs.   Well pesticides don't usually have an instant effect.    I knew a school  director  who would not let me eat watermelon.   She knew a watermelon farmer who told her not to eat any in Thailand because him and  most  farmers use so many pesticides even injecting  red dye inside.

Probably true. A couple of year ago in Bangkok there was a scandal when chemical residue were found in 2 of 10 samples marked as "organic" in the big supermarkets by the National Bureau of Agricultural Commodity and Food Standards.

The announcement of a tourism plan that will promote safety, natural beauty, food and Thai characteristics and target quality tourists with high purchasing power is accompanied by a picture of speedboats moored in the cesspool which is that part of Pattaya Bay adjacent to Walking Street?

URGENT: MRT has just announced that they have closed ALL of their stations across #Bangkok on the Blue Line. At the moment, the Purple Line, ARL and BTS are operating as normal. This is due to the planned #ม็อบ17ตุลา protest at train stations at 3pm #Thailand

Isn’t it ironic that the preventive measures by the Thai government to stop the #ม็อบ17ตุลา taking place is leading to a #BangkokShutdown? Like yesterday they closed major roads which forced shopping malls to close. Now it looks like the rail system in #Bangkok will shutdown too.

What's next? shutting down internet in Thailand?
