Seriously, is that the best they can come up with to save the airline? On the same level as their stupid attempts to restart their tourist business.

Not often that you hear from Thais that they have failed.

So the 100.000 USD insurance is another Thai scam?

Belgium is a very different country to Sweden. Try comparing Sweden to it's immediate neighbours, Norway, Denmark and Finland.
Sweden's neighbors all locked down and have so far done great, they did not have thousands of Somali immigrants employed in the care homes, a major reason why so many old people died in Sweden. The Somali population in my town have five times more infected per capita compared to the "Swedish" Swedes, many of them don't understand the dangers of this virus and they also live many together in the same apartment.

Thailand. I've shown you the stats. (yet again), and you choose to ignore them. Sweden's approach has failed, even the Swedish government now admit to that. Pity you can't.
The Swedish government could not lockdown the country, the priority was to save the economy. If you compare Sweden with Belgium. almost the same size population of ten millions, Belgium locked down and got now almost two times more deaths than Sweden, so who did the right thing? Time will tell but the Swedish economy is doing fine now and most of the workers that were laid of in the spring during the first wave have found new jobs.

So happy I am in Sweden now and not in England. This will kill the economy.

Agree, but I also think their "Fun Quarantine idea" When they expect tourists to come in their droves to learn yoga, cooking and watch concerts from their isolation balconies, learn Muay Thai and even order a pizza topped with Green Curry was up there with the best ones.

Cannot go to a country's hospital? Even if paying the full price for every treatments, no only private hospital?
Thai public hospitals can now legally charge foreign nationals higher rates for services under new regulations

Infected foreigners have to pay for everything themselves - Probably to a much higher price than any Thai have to pay.

The way it stands now with flight, covid insurance and quarantine I’m figuring $3-$4,000 to get back in Thailand. Probably not acceptable for many. That is with cheapest flight
Corect, and why should I pay that crazy money to get back to a closed down Thailand when in my town in Sweden there are lots of Thai girls that you bonk for almost the same price as in Thailand and hundreds of Thai restaurants selling the same food and no facemasks needed.

I found the Chinese friendly and intelligent. The Malays not.
I also like the Malay Chinese, much more than the Thai Chinese, never been cheated by them so far when doing business with them, can't say the same about the Thai Chinese. The Malay Muslims are not very hard working people, quite lazy people I would say, I think the country would come to a stand still if there were no Chinese or Indians in Malaysia.

What about the planes? Turn them into flower pots? Feeding troughs? Artificial reefs?
If they cut of the wings and put wheels on them they can use them as their new Chinese Hi-speed trains.

Are you joking? Do you know how old the normal Thai Air-hostess is? Thai Smile then ok.
Thai Smile will do, the older ones from Thai could serve drinks or clean glasses. Not sure what they could do with the pilots, maybe they can use them as bouncers?
