Don't forget allspiece, caraway and mustard seeds, lots of them.cloves, bay leaf, corriander seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg, black pepper.
Could also add some star anise.
and probably juniper
Just a thought, most good gin contains a lot of these. Suggest a good drop of Bombay Sapphire to enhance the flavour.

Important is you got the stamp and are back in.
Maybe the Lady had a bad day. Stand above it.
Immigration officials can be rude in any country. I had some pretty "strange" encounters in the US.
Don't let this spoil your day.

Just in progress of changing true ADSL to fiber 30. Cost about 100 baht more. What speeds can I expect in Bangkok?

the numbers showing on a thermostat, especially the old dial thermostat are largely arbitrary.
there is also the possibility that the unit is under powered for the room or season, or both.
Plus the air conditioning does not adequately measure the temperature across the room....

Could be easily more, even in government hospitals.Correction to my earlier post

I would recommend the app named HERE. It is free, and works offline. Uses Nokia maps, I think.

I supplement external drives with an internal one. Got myself a bay in the desktop that allows hot swapping of regular drives. Use WD black caviar. Very reliable and keep it backed up with external disks.
Essentially all data is in two places.

As I see it you have three choices:
1) Subscribe to a cloud storage and upload/ download as planned. $$$
2) Use free Cloud storage or indeed large file email, You may need to split your data into smaller packages, use multiple accounts etc.
3) Buy an external drive (1TB= 2,000 Baht) use that. You either keep it afterwards or sell for 50%.....
Given the money and time it would take for 1) and The time and effort it would take for 2), I would opt for 3).

I helped the guy yesterday with a little donation.
Had a similar situation lately that cost us 700k and therefor feel for them.
Anyway, just included a note wishing him well , followed by a line suggesting to get insurance..
What a mistake. Now I am the bad guy. Am I too insensitive suggesting that?

All good. If you collect miles, use the one that participates in your current alliance. I often go with Qatar as part of Oneworld.

Let's see if any of this will be enforced.
Elephant products- how about the endless leather belts and wallets sold at the airport even?
Buddhist paraphernalia- how about the many Thai travelling with Amulets for safety and luck?
Caffeine- how about all the OTOP and Doi Thung coffee sold to tourists to take home?
Understand copy right infringement, Illegal ivory etc. All else just big BS. Why do e-cigarettes need a separate mention?

Just ask for 3 slices.

They are all from Asean countries. Thought by now they can easily work anywhere in Asean area?

I use Windows 10 on both laptop and desktop. No Problems at all. I am very happy. Performs better than 7, 8 or 8.1 for me.

It's not about where you live, but how you live.
As soon as you add little luxuries (I. E. Western food, private school for Kids, a maid, car, satellite TV and whatever else) you end up not being able to live on 30k.

I take it you are all not too IT savvy. Windows 10 or I OS. Would likely be the best options. Just tell her to choose a Laptop that has Win 10 installed. Runs very well.
You will find something decent for about 15-20 k with pre-installed windows.

My vote goes to Hua Hin.

Did anyone ever start a war in the name of Buddhism? Maybe that differentiates it from other religions?

Pacific Cross is something to consider.

Not living in a condo, but somewhere along the line.
The maintenance fee for our village was for years 25 baht /sqw./ month. Last year it was decided to put that to a vote. How much do you want to pay? 25, 27 or 29.
I was laughing. The question should have been, how much does is cost to provide security, gardening, garbage, streetlights etc....
There was a bit of a lack of concept... suspect same is true for your condo.
For you men with Thai wives in Thailand....

Very funny posts here. Like the GPS reference. My wife tells me everything she sees on the road; look the truck turns, look the bus stops; look the motorbike might turn etc.
I usually just grumble an "I see" .....
We have a good lough about it and carry on.
Getting older is getting wiser. No need to seriously argue about our idiosyncrasies.
