I don't care. To me any preference is OK, except children.

It's probably pretty nice if it isn't rancid, but whenever I've bought it it's been... ancient.
Never experienced that. I get mine from Max Value. They appear to have quite a turnover on their inventory. Trust everyone checks expiration dates before buying any dairy here.

My preferred brand is Emborg. Usually I buy more than I need and keep a couple prints frozen.

Don't quite comprehend how 7 guys can be relieved of 5 MTHB. That is 700.000 each. Who has that much cash on them? Anyway, stick with the old saying "You can't con an honest man" .....

699/ month 30/5 fiber true. Works fine for me. No streaming issues.

9 month is OK. Any longer depends on how frugal you can and will be and how costly visa arrangements will become.

Make insurance a mandatory inclusion in bike hire!

I must be going wrong somewhere, perhaps we're not normal because 45k a month seems like a massive amount to spend on groceries each month.
I buy a lot of imported cheese every month, meat is typically chicken or pork which is local, as are all vegetables, fruit and dairy - we don't eat beef and we don't need to buy imported meat period. We don't buy soft drinks but we do buy fruit juice - we also don't buy cakes/pastries/biscuits/chips. I eat three meals a day and 80% are western dishes, Mrs CM does the usual Thai meals 100%.
We don't try to save money on groceries, our supermarket shopping has no budget associated with it but over a month it always averages around 7k baht and some months may peak at 8.5K baht, there's no booze in that number.
Why such a huge disparity in the numbers?
The expensive items are beef, lamb, seafood, cheese, toiletries ( not sure if I rightly included this in groceries), olives, olive oil, nice cold cuts etc.
And again covering 5 people. I think milk alone is about 1,000 a month. -
Groceries about 45000 for 5 of us. ( restaurants excluded)

I just miss variety. Normally my brew of choice is Leo. Added the four varieties of Kaiserdom available to the mix ( Keller, Pilsner, Dark, and Weiss). I also like an occasional Federbräu. Different times, foods, moods and occasions call for different beers. Unfortunately there is no great beer culture in Thailand. Same goes for wine by the way.

I wonder what is specified in a pilots work permit?
If any realtor have work permits, which I doubt they have, do they then have to list every property they may or may not visit in the foreseeable future?
How can the models that was asked to get work permits last year know where they will shoot every single picture a year in advance?
Is a CEO that answer his mobile phone outside the office breaking the law?
It just shows that work permits limitation on location are not practical. Same goes for teachers at football games with different schools....

Can you imagine the world of shit she would be in if she's blacklisted and found to have sneaked back into the country?
Not saying sneak in. Come legally. I would not advocate anything shady. -
If there is some mix up with the Airline. Why don't you fly to a country next door to Thailand then go overland.

I would try this too. Perhaps using a remote crossing. -
Suggest acer switch 2 in1 . Little over 7k. Add a memory card. Long lasting battery, no charger as it uses regular USB charging and speedy enough for anything but complex gaming etc.

Makes sense. Checked if you can find an accident insurance?

Constitution change seems to be an easy, too easy thing. I would recommend constitution change to be only allowed with 75% of voter support. Possibly adding that 50% of eligible votes must be reached too, in case of low turnout.

Imagine Walmart without Mexican products, or Chinese etc.

He should have driven on the correct side and have a liscense plate, insurance papers etc.
I think 3,000 baht would have been fine, 500 for each of the offenses.
Payable via atm into audited account. Non-payment means go to court and end up paying legal costs too... -
I think it would be best to close any thread related to nonameburgers. We should respect his explicit wish and stop talking about him. Mods?

THB 1 million will buy you 20 years at this particular time so not so far off a lifetime for many here
I would want a true lifetime visa. Not renewable 5 year options. -
Prachup Khirikan for the rent
Pattaya for beer and girls
Koh Samet or Phuket for the beach
All three in one place a bit difficult.
Thai treasury reserves down 85% since coup

Not really sure what reserves the article is talking about. Is it just the available cash flow?
Last Year's budget was 2,720 bn baht. That means government spent roughly 225 bn baht per month. In that context a reserve of only 0.3 monthly spending seems very low to me.
Anybody with an economics background care to shed some more light on this? Maybe compare with other countries?
