Hi, I am travelling to Thailand at the end of July so need to apply for an e visa, I thought the visa was free but after filling out the online forms, it says it's £30?? Is this correct? I haven't paid ti enter Thailand before!

My friend was on this flight and said it was awful! She said it was 3 hours being unloaded and then the following day, they spent another 3 hours on the tarmac before take off!! Not a great start to the holiday!!
