    I spent good times with friends from Udon ,I was based in KK then and most weeks we'd meet up, ride our big bikes around the area NongKhai, Loei etc. then back to the Udon entertainment which was much better in the days before Central and Soi Sampan IMO.There were lots of good farang bars with good food Steves Harry's bar on the ring road and Soi Farang opposite Robinsons.It lost a lot of it's appeal IMO when Central was built and the bars moved.

    Tragic. Alzheimers. Same happened to a very dear, now deceased, Swedish friend of mine.He was driving in Stockholm and lost the ability to drive.Didn't know where he was what to do etc. Sudden and immediate.His wife and daughter were with him so his daughter took over and got them home.

    Perfectly reasonable too! NO parking spaces would cause ANYONE to go off the deep end ! He showed typical Thai restraint by only firing 10 shots.

    The VLXs are getting long in the tooth now.I used a bloke called Joe in Khon kaen years ago on my 600.He was great with them.There was a guy called "Diamond" in Udon near the main cop shop off the third roundabout in Ubon who was good but it was a decade ago.I have no idea what bike shops/mechanics are there nowadays.
