I ended up buying Leo from the Thais over the security fence. You had to buy 4 at a time for 200 baht. The Thai seller would throw 4 beers over the 2 barriers and then I had to throw him 200 Baht.

Also it looked to me like 100's if not 1000's of people got in for free, anyone could climb over the outside perimiter fence with no questions asked. Then once you had been into the priced areas they stamped your hand but never took yer ticket off ya. If you left that area you could re-enter with yer stamp and then someone else could get in with your ticket.

I lent some random girl my ticket for all of 10 minutes, and it looked like 10 of em got in using it The staff knew what was going on but didnt give a <deleted>.

I have a set of Creative speakers and the sound is quite good for both music and games. Comes with two small desktop speakers and a sub-woofer and cost around 4500B. I was surprised how much output there was from the tiny desktop speakers and maintain quality.

I have the same, its unreal how loud and bassey you can get it to run

ATM withdrawals in Thailand have been averaging over 70 THB to 1 GBP for a good few years after the UK banks add their 1.5% charge.

I withdrew THB 20'000 on the 13th of Feb, and after the 1.5% foreign ATM withdrawal fee it’s ended up @ 65.4 THB to the GBP. I know it’s been averaging the mid 66's since Christmas and I’m relatively new here compared to a lot of expats, but it’s the lowest I have ever seen it!

I’m just wondering if there’s any economists out there who could shed a little light on why this is happening and when, if at all this declining trend will shift the other way?

theres a progrgam called gspot, which will tell you which audio de-coder you are using. I would suggest deleting this codec and yer sound card drivers, then re-installing em both

mbps (millibaud per second) is not commonly used. That would be 1/1000 baud per second. In other words, it would take 1,000 seconds to transmit one baud.

1 Mbps (Megabaud per second) = 1000 kbps (kilobaud per second)

Mbps usually means megabits per second with todays modulation capabilitys, I think hes got his patch to the gateway mixed up with the actual ADSL line speed
