  1. I've got a good idea. Give everyone in the US a gun. Make it mandatory to own a gun and join the NRA. No problems then. They wouldn't be called massacres then - just an everyday event.

When I first saw that 38 people were killed in a shooting I didn't think Tunisia I thought USA - again.

Here are some stats that may surprise you and the gun grabbers probably won't want to believe.

If you go to the official FBI website you will find that according to their own stats from 1992 until 2012 violent crime in the USA has declined by 49%. It has continued to decline and is over 50% now. One analyst believes it is now down by 61% since 1992.

Gun ownership has increased by about 400% since Obama took office.

The US states that have the highest gun ownership per capita have the lowest crime rates.

Switzerland has the lowest crime rate in Europe accept for Monaco which isn't really a country. Every man is required to serve in the military and is then required to take his full auto military machine gun home with him. They even have sold surplus ammo to civilians to keep in practice. It's part of the national defense strategy. I have confirmed this with several Swiss including a guy who rents from me. Who is going to break into a house if they know the owner has a machine gun? Point being, it's the mental health of the society that matters, not how many guns exist.

Although I haven't done any research to confirm this, I heard a very established talk show host say the other day that statistically Britain is actually a more violent society than the US is. Yes I know, more people die from gunshots in the US, but they are talking about violence in general.

    OK, enough.

looks like the govt and media brainwashing is working

  2. Maybe wear a kidney belt. I find it helps a lot.

    Touring_Kidney_Belt_BLACK_detail.jpgTouring_Kidney_Belt_BLACK_Rear_detail.jp

you can get similar to this belt in Pharma Choice for 500 baht...u see people working at Tesco stacking the shelves wearing them

I had a CBR250 but sold it for the same reason plus it used to cripple my arms and shoulders too

I have seen a couple of people convert the CBR250 to an upright bar position with the top of the fairing and screen cut back

  3. Kevin Tahiango Theodore Okito doesn't sound typically French to me.

This is getting so old. Not all French are called Charles Henri Duval, just like not all Brits are called Jim Smith and just like not all Germans are called Fritz Mueller. If they have French passports, then that is what they are; regardless of names or skin color.

only liberal apologists and the brainwashed PC brigade would ever say that these people are French

  4. Getting PDF to text first is a minor miracle. From there, hoping to get something that will keep the format is a tougher find. It also depends on whether you are willing to pay for the service. Adobe Reader now offers conversion, but it's not free. Check here for free solutions:

    http://www.freewaregenius.com/how-to-convert-pdf-to-word-doc-for-free-a-comparative-test-2/

The issue of how hard it is to get a PDF to text depends on whether your PDF is in text format or scanned images. If it is text, it is also critical whether the font information was saved. It not, you just get gibberish from it. I ended up using a paid solution (Tipard) because of frequent docs that were in scanned format or without font data, and also for Thai support, but Spanish is commonly available in free software.

OmniPage SE came with my Canon printer. It does OCR with format preservation, but I'm not sure if it does Spanish or can work from a PDF rather than a physical book.

Once you get Spanish text out of your PDF, you will have to run it through Google Translate to get English text (copy/paste relevant sections). This will be tedious for something as large as a book. You will probably have to just translate pages as needed for whatever you are trying to accomplish, or find a Spanish friend to help you with reading the book.

"You will probably have to just translate pages as needed for whatever you are trying to accomplish"

the pages in the pdf will copy and paste so i will just do that as and when needed

thanks to those who took the trouble to reply

  5. ^I will try the place near Airport Plaza .I am convinced that these parts must be available in Thailand somewhere without having to mail order from America.i will also try my regular Thai mechanic ,who is self employed and who i communicate with through my wife (as he does not speak English or me Thai ).

if you find out where to source these parts in Thailand please let us know

  6. Except for the figures quoted there is nothing new in this news.

<quote> "The most common single type of incident in 2014 involved verbal abuse directed at random Jewish people in public," the group said in a report. In many cases, "the victims were ordinary Jewish people, male or female, attacked or abused while going about their daily business in public places,"...

Well, 1,168 incidents reported allows to assume some unreported ones, doesn't it?

What I would like to see in these reports is a fair information on not only victims but perpetrators as well.

The victims are clearly "random ordinary Jewish people".

I would like to see similar general description of perpetrators... but it's nowhere to be seen.

IMHO it would be "specific violent Muslim people". Naturally, it is an assumption only. But I trust my own gut feeling.

The report in its present form looks like it has been edited in Sweden.

Don't you know by now that mentioning perpetrators by ethnic or religion afflation is a taboo

and politically incorrect? god forbid that Muslim be mentioned of fear or reprisal and intimidations

    from all Muslim's quarters...

Beside, Jews were used as a whipping post for centuries now, when a group of people want to blame

and hate someone, they usually start with the Jews...nothing new here...

is that the reason that jews have been expelled from 109 countries since AD250 ?

  7. I know an Aussie guy who was married for several years ran a succesful restaurant bought a house condo and land all in her name

he went to the hospital for some tests and came home and told his wife he had throat cancer

she split with him the next day..devastaed he went back to aus and took two years to get sorted then returned to Thailand

went to see the wife to sort out the divorce and split of the assets and was threatened with murder if he tried to take the matter to court

nice people...wouldnt trust anyone here especially when the girl is old enough to be your daughter/grandaughter

  8. Asia insurance does a bike policy 3rd party that covers damage to other vehicle and medical for its pasengers plus a 100k bail bond for 1699 baht and if u ask for a discount like i did its 1500 baht...could be invaluable if u have a collision with an expensive car or a bike carrying kids as the thais and the police will say its your fault

Yes, if it is your fault they will say it is.

plenty of stories on TV where witnesses have accused the farang when it hasnt been his fault...

the point being it is important to have at least 3rd class insurance on any vehicle

  10. when i go to insure and tax my motorcycle the govt office prints out the receipt for the insurance which i then use in the office next door to purchase the road tax

Yes, you are insured but need papers to know the company.........are you saying that the procedure is different for a car whereby you purchase compulsory insurance from an outside source?

Yes, original license is required, just copy is not enough...........the license has been lost my gripe is that they are reuiring documents that were provided when the license was issued...there cannot be justification to provide a residence certificate to get a copy of an already current license

  11. recently bought a cheap car, the sticker on the window says the car is taxed until July 2558/2015

didnt receive any document from the seller regarding insurance

am i correct in saying the car must have the compulsory insurance already due to the vehicle being taxed?

i only have the transfer fee receipt of 655 baht....do i need to get a copy of the insurance document or will the tax sticker be enough?

another question, while i was at the office i told them i had lost/misplaced my 5 year thai license

the license is still valid until 2018 and i have a photocopy to prove

they said in order to issue a new one i had to produce a photocopy of my passport and visa...no problem

but also a letter from my condo and a residence certificate costing 500 baht and a couple of trips to immigration

I pointed out that the license was still valid as stated on the photocopy and i was not requiring a new license just a copy of the old one

    fell on deaf ears

  12. well heres the answer but because certain groups of people are not allowed to be criticised or exposed i suspect the answer will be removed

The "answer" might be removed because it is so ridiculous. You found a few Jews that support multiculturalism. So what? They have all kinds of different opinions on just about everything. rolleyes.gif

I posted a reasonable reply to your post pointing out who is responsible and why mass immigration into europe has been promoted but unfortunately it has been removed

je suis charlie is only for people who support the establishment sanctioned point of view
