Retirement Extension
To satisfy Jomtien you have to evidence 12 x 65k transfers because that was the basis of approval of your LAST extension. For the new application the 2 month seasoning rule would additionally apply. I would be inclined to ask the local office (preferably a different I/O) if that would be appropriate in your case, for that office.

E Visa from UK not working
I knew I has seen 3 months quoted somewhere - the Thai embassy London website:- You are recommended to apply for a visa at least 4-8 weeks before the travel date but do not submit your application more than 3 months before your departure date. https://london.thaiembassy.org/en/page/visa-general-information

It's ok to be bored just not everyday
I think that you have just described bored..................or boring. I may well have been sat with some of those tidy chicks (which is definitely not boring) when they have commented "look at that old bored tw4t, he just rides up and down all day on his wife's scooter". At least get a decent bike, like a Forza, you will look less unimpressive 🙂

I would.... that doesn't sound at all right to me.

savannakhet now require bank statement (400k) for 1 year multi visa (non-O marriage or Thai family)
It is a good question - and we won't know until it has been tried. Personally, for the issue of a visa, I would have thought that they would want to see money in a bank account............................

Retirement Extension
Surely he only has to evidence 800k for 2 months (for the extension being applied for)...the ongoing 65k payments need to be made to satisfy the curr ent terms of approval. That is what I did when I switched.

You would be unwise to take your skepticism too far....................these 'new' requirements ARE there - a friend just encountered them. Up to you.

If he had the sort of money he brags about he wouldn't be shouting about on a Thailand internet form. It's the small penis syndrome.

Retirement Extension
The general rule (and certainly applicable for Jomtien) is that next year the first thing they will check for is that you have complied with THIS YEAR's terms of approval ie you must make 12 x 65k payments as normal. Also you must season the 800k for 2 months before your application based on funds in the bank.

E Visa from UK not working
Jay Clay is correct in inferring that you need 6 months validity on your passport at the time of entry. There are senior contributors on here who will tell you that Thailand does not require 6 months validity.....I think that you have just proved that they do.

Apologies, I have also since read what you quote. I definitely saw 3 months mentioned somewhere. - possibly re Non-Immigrant O visas

savannakhet now require bank statement (400k) for 1 year multi visa (non-O marriage or Thai family)
Just connecting those details for ease of reading: Guys, the latest report from Savannakhet: I submitted the documentation for non-immigrant O visa based on marriage today at 9:15am. I also provided my child's birth certificate and copy of tabian ban as well as KR2 paper and it was taken by the immigration officer. When I said I would like to apply for one year non-immigrant O visa, she immediately said I needed financial requirements proved. She accepted the copies of my bank book and also had a detailed look at my original bank book. That was all. The money wasn't seasoned but was transfered to my bank account yesterday. I think I should receive my visa tomorrow and I not, I will inform you here.

Jesus! Dragging up a post from 2 weeks ago.....that makes you sad! Now go back and read the post that I was replying - surely you understood the comment..........................obviously not!
