  1. Yes, that driving on the right doesn't help after coming from Thailand - and being a Brit!????.......
  2. No. MAKRO still bake onsite. Siem Reap ((Cambodia in general) has far superior bread to Thailand. Obviously down to the French/Vietnamese influence whereas Thailand has not benefited from colonisation. I had a restaurant in Buriram and used to bring back dozens of baguettes from Siem Reap.
  3. They are baps.....????
  4. I would say don't try the Royal brand.....or at least read, and understand, the nutritional information first - then decide. I am told that MAKRO Kraftkorn bread is pretty good, but I haven't tried it yet
  5. I think that you think too much Fact - others (without having any control over you) can impact your mood; positively or negatively.
  6. Lost me there....... ...but that is not something new.
  7. Yes, but they don't listen for the response!
  8. Rubbish...'other people' have caused sadness when I was happy - others have made me happy when I wasn't.
  9. No Don't try and speak for me, you are not capable. Go troll elsewhere
  10. I will let you know when it is no longer exciting.
  11. Correct. I already told you it was badly handled.
  12. So am I. If I had to change tomorrow I would do; age is only a barrier if you allow it to be. There are few better places than Thailand for finding female company (if that is what you refer to) - at any age.
  13. I disagree about "a significant drop in expat community".................. quite simply, more will just use agents.
  14. Yes indeed. But can be corrected.
  15. You REALLY screwed up, didn't you? If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude. Maya Angelou
  16. I don't support many of your posts but I am behind you on this one,
  17. I didn't say it was. I have already said what I thought he should have done. The circus that followed was pathetic.
  18. I don't believe that HE was seeking the limelight. Whilst he was in the wrong (and should have resigned immediately the woke world decided to make an issue out of it) it was the limelight that was thrust at him. Badly handled all round.
  19. Of course it's because of money, and they don't really want to be rice or rubber farmers - they will. of course, scuttle back for the 'culture' at New Year, Songkran and big Buddha holidays.
  20. I doubt that you will be missed. THIS is reality - Thai style. Surely you knew that when you came to these shores?
  21. Free in most areas - if you apply yourself correctly!
  22. It can't be far away as it is the property of the British government and it is your responsibility to take care of it. Just get hold of it, take a picture of entry stamp, post it on here, and all will become clear.
  23. Not really, they are shameless!
