  1. If the photos are required for comparison with a passport then it is logical that the passport photo rules are adhered to:- How to get a digital photo You can get a digital photo either: from a photo booth or shop before applying for your passport by taking one using your own device during your passport application Photos from a booth or shop are more likely to be approved than a photo taken using your own device. Get a photo with a code from a photo booth or shop Before starting your application, get a digital passport photo from a photo booth or shop. Choose the option to get a code with your photos. You’ll be asked to enter the photo code during your passport application and your digital photo will be added to your application. Take a photo using your own device You’ll need someone to help you take a photo during your application. Rules for digital photos The quality of your digital photo Your photo must be: clear and in focus in colour unaltered by computer software at least 600 pixels wide and 750 pixels tall at least 50KB and no more than 10MB What your digital photo must show The digital photo must: contain no other objects or people be taken against a plain light-coloured background be in clear contrast to the background not have ‘red eye’ If you’re using a photo taken on your own device, include your head, shoulders and upper body. Do not crop your photo - it will be done for you. In your photo you must: be facing forwards and looking straight at the camera have a plain expression and your mouth closed have your eyes open and visible not have hair in front of your eyes not have a head covering (unless it’s for religious or medical reasons) not have anything covering your face not have any shadows on your face or behind you Do not wear glasses in your photo unless you have to do so. If you must wear glasses, they cannot be sunglasses or tinted glasses, and you must make sure your eyes are not covered by the frames or any glare, reflection or shadow.
  2. I paid 205k at Bangkok Korat hospital in 2017. Excellent service but unfortunately the laparoscopic surgery on my abdominal hernia failed. I had mesh surgery under the NHS in 2019 and all has been good.
  3. ???? It's back to drinking then...............................
  4. If you drink to relieve boredom then life will be a struggle. Try solitaire - or masturbating.
  5. Google didn't say 'fillet' - only the above poster. You order pad krappow nua , the only meat you will get is beef Google agrees with me .......'beef steak':- เนื้อวัว Neụ̄̂x wạw
  6. Steak neua is just 'beef steak'.
  7. I am not sure why you only refer to Farangs. More Thai students earn money from servicing Thai males than Farangs.
  8. OK, let's for a moment consider the possibility that you are not a troll. If you don't pay her an 'allowance' somebody else will
  9. Wow! I think that she has certainly found a "keeper".......
  10. Even I would find it hard to deny him that opportunity...
  11. Logic....or fantasy? In Thailand it is a thin dividing line.
  12. Accuracy is not pedantry. You cannot request conversion. WISE will remit the currency you hold to a bank account of your choice.....that bank account denomination (Thai Baht, US Dollars etc) will determine what currency you receive.
  13. WISE don't transfer Baht. Their agent in Thailand does - hence making it a domestic transfer.
  14. We need more of that sort of advice on this forum.... Advice heeded and duly acted upon. Sticky Lives do indeed matter....stick up for the Stickies....????
  15. Australian's like their fish............... The problem with frozen fish is that it freezes/cooks down to almost half it's frozen weight. I have found cod bought in Thailand to be tough. I would find a place that does good fish of your choice and ask who supplies them. Transporting frozen food across Thailand is rarely an issue. Here is an example of a price list:- https://nookiesdelights.3baht.net/docs/Nookies Price List.pdf
  16. .... and the relevance of that comment is?
  17. True. But I would have encouraged them towards 13/14% abv wine with lower taxes/prices to wean them off the 40% gut rot. Most are alcoholics and simply top anyway - better they do it with lower alcohol content.
  18. Obviously not used to spicy Thai food - after all those goats testicles in the desert.
  19. So you support that level of increase? Just pushed the plebs deeper into Lao Khao consumption.
  20. Thaksin's accumulation of wealth is well documented. Some good business deals, some dodgy deals - some outright corrupt. Must have Chinese good fortune as he made a shed load when selling Manchester City (after being deemed by the FA to be an unsuitable owner). "Thaksin, who made a £120m profit by selling City, may now try to sell his remaining 10% stake in the club as tries to build a new life – he is reported to be building a £5.5m property in China – and fight Thailand's extradition procedures" https://www.theguardian.com/football/2009/feb/10/manchester-city-thaksin-sacked
  21. A bit over-dramatic don't you think? Have you noticed how quiet the military have been whilst the current scenario plays out. Thaksin should have stayed away if he has any lingering political ambitions. I doubt that even his egomania would let him think that Srettha would step aside to allow him to take the helm.
