  1. one of the probleme in thailand are their laws ....most of them are to antiquated, obsolete, outmoded, old fashion and then you can see like in this case an inappropriate fine for a murder case.

here they drive like crazy especialy the transporters with big trucks....on the road they are a danger for the others , i see it every day like you, it is nothing new !

    wai2.gif

also i heard from thais who had allready problems on the road, that the transporters companies pay some bribe money to some " patrol guys.....!" if something happened with his own driver............like this the business carry on and everything is ok.

alcool free, safety is too much bla bla and a whist of time for them.

    coffee1.gif

but not only the drivers are guilty, the people who design that kind of roads are also guilty, and the government who aprouve such a design is also guilty..!

  2. Don't know what the big deal is. If you have no reciprocal Medicare and a tourist in Australia you also get charged and arm and a leg. Compared to the prices in Oz. Thailand is cheap

that's not what they are talking about - they are talking about an ADDED cost aimed at foreigners for the same treatment given to others.

Aha. Well that truly is crap then

would you care to expand on that?

and normally "cheap" is synonim of "c.h.i.t".....food included!

  3. at least ..........!

ok here is my testimony, it is a bit long (the story ..)but 100% true

in my opinion after knowing all hospital from ubon and 4 of the famous one in bangkok

all hospital are more expensive than a 5 star hotel

all medecines, even an aspirin or a simple paracetamol pill are sold a crasy price

abuse in taking money for schecking your weight and blood pressure even when it is absolutly not necesary.

abuse in telling you to make mra and mri or what ever with machinery, only to make money with you

abuse in medecin given, no controll of it , you can ask what you want if you pay.

but the worst thing is that they are not profesional at all in general......for a heavy staff you better go back to your country because here it is only a matter of money.

it is called health tourism and the capitalism knows that it is an easy way to get rich or richer very fast without too much effort.....

the entreprise who will never bankrup are food , health and death business.....now you know where to invest!

  4. it mays.!!!..............so............. i am not interested in that new, also i am not thai so i dont have to be or look similar.

enough i spend all my money here ....respecting the others of course, but i am not concerned about thainess as we dont have even married with a thai a migrant visa right.

we are non immigrant o...so what the hell, i will pay better my tourist atraction if i want to go there!

  5. we would make a favour to the eco system if the eu banned them.....and not only the thai.....many more!!...... seas and rivers of thailand are fish less since long time.just come and see to ubon to the mun river..!or other places!

economy and money is one human thing....the planet need a rest...........we kill everything on the name of the economy and grow....and we are wrong because one day nothing will be left for you to put in your mounth.

    then what will happen?

i am glad we are more clever in europe .....we do fish with quotas now... who are controlled by specialist and every body is happy and responsable with that mature decision...the fishers and the consumer!

  6. i lived near tao pun for 5 years , i used to go to that market a lot and i new people living there for life....never heard about that so hudge casino.also i used to go to a snooker place near where they bet money on games like every where anyway.

normally if something is illigal and carry on working it is because police is involve otherwise it is shut down before it start.

    coffee1.gif

  7. Does anyone think that maybe, just maybe, the likes of Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, etc are not exactly high up on the average holidaymaker's agenda, and that the list includes places people actually go to?

thats why these countries should be pointed first by the finger1zgarz5.gif.pagespeed.ce.GJfs_tQOQ-LbP_e , because there are so creasyly unsafe for the female that they almost travel to other less unsafe place......drunk.gif.pagespeed.ce.hfErN2aQEEfKmimwR

  8. yyyyyyeah.....samut prakan is since long ago a real factories garbage making polution every where....most are chinese or thai chinese who care only about money and all the shit goes to the ground .............i 've seen it many times.

    coffee1.gif

I have a house , In Bang Poo, I think you should have a visit, not many Chinese around that i see, Land prices going through the roof ,The sky train is well under way, it

should be up and running in a year, You will be able to get to Central Bangkok in about twenty minutes, I would say the place is booming, maybe that's why there was a

mystery fire, there was one just before Christmas, It was on the TV.

bang poo is not samut prakan where all the factories are all concentrated and where all the polution is............your out of context

only a fool would go to leave near this places...of course it is full of urbanisation, they need to build somewhere..........., but it is all crap, very noisy, near the airport , motorway and far from bangkok....a real mess in my opinion where i would never myself invest.

    coffee1.gif

  9. Violation of the law is subject six months imprisonment and/or a 10,000 Baht fine.

as usual to excessive imprisonment time and totaly ridiculous fine.

anyway alcool wil never be stopped with politic like that.....education should be the way, especially on tv where it would be more efective and tuch all the thai society feelings instead of putting all that crap series and programs all day long.

    coffee1.gif

  10. never pay...never .....never...never....even less if it is policeman or government staff where ever.

people paying are increasing the coruption it is a big big mistake.

myself since i live in thailand i always refuse to pay any kind of payment under the table or tip .i never had any problem with that.

the only thing that can happen is that they are going to call you perhaps tightwad or skinflint (in thai: คนขี้ตืด-kiniao)

    good day and good night

    coffee1.gif

Thanks for the Thai lesson, dude. Honestly, you seem to suffer of a huge identify problem. Never pay, even less for cops, or government staff?

So you never give a tip, interesting. You must live a freaking boring life and I'd assume that you wouldn't buy me a beer after I'd bought you ten boxes,..

I'm just wondering what Thai citizens think, when reading your "unprofessional and questionable post".

Some "problems" are only to fix with money, tips are even a must in other countries as a sign of appreciation.

I always give a tip to in my favorite restaurant, always a tip when I get my car fixed, always give some change to people who're suffering.

And you know what? I always get a good service and the money doesn't hurt me. People respect me for who/what I am.

You never had a problem not giving a tip, or something similar, as Thais wouldn't tell you that you're a foreigner, who shouldn't be in this country. -wai2.gif

Only fools tip all the time and only fools would pay for a girl to leave!! Plain and simple. If she tried to charge you for every time she slept with you turn it back on her as western gigolo's earn much more then thai women wink.png

fool he is a while.......but let him pay ......one day he will understand.....these people need to fell deep down to see the reality.

and they like to give lessons to those who know more than they do....!
