  1. In theory, sounds good... but many instances of injection not working... besides you have all that time spent being checked if health enough to kill (?), strap down, various cocktails... "Death is pronounced after cardiac activity stops. Death usually occurs within seven minutes, although, due to complications in finding a suitable vein, the whole procedure can take up to two hours, as was the case with the execution of Christopher Newton on May 24, 2007." per google search Advantage of firing squad is that it is quick and time tested
  2. Well, there were no complaints.... good point ya had there... gave me a good laugh
  3. "Ukraine doesn't have the cards" says Mr. "Art of the deal". Trump has handed the entire deck to Mr Putin... "Just tell me what to kiss and how much" is how Trump deals with Putin
  4. Never ask "How thick can you get?"... they will consider it a challenge to their manhood and seek to amaze with their even more dense thickness
  5. It only hurts for a very brief time I have heard. As Gary Gilmore famously said prior to his firing squad execution in 1977 "Let's do it" It is unclear if Nike ad motto "Just do it" was a spin off of Gilmore's last words
  6. Maybe 9 years ago I was at Central Pattaya and took a few discrete photos, sent them off to a Bangkok based animal protection NGO. Nothing was done....
  7. smooth move X Lax (That was a phrase we used as kids when someone did something really stupid and/or clumsily. ExLax would help you have a bowel movement, take a crap... laxative...)
  8. hmm why did they change the name of the festival? What is wrong with "Song Kran"?
  9. "...Chinese government has consented to monitoring the Palestinians once they are returned.." Huh? Say what? Does the AI that writes these stories consider all Muslim refugees to be Palestinians? Does anyone proof read these?
  10. That might cover one hospitalization event, if not too complex. And who would pay the million dollars? Not Trump... guess who?
  11. "A Growing Legal Dilemma" what dilemma? Here is the definition: "a situation in which a difficult choice has to be made between two or more alternatives, especially equally undesirable ones" Is enforcing the law seen as an undesirable alternative? hmm maybe it is here in Thailand.... never mind
  12. just once I would like to see you deal with facts rather than "sounds like...", "sort of thing they would do" And what is this degenerate crime family trolling? I assume you are for Trump, 34 felony convictions... Jared's father convicted of jury tampering etc, pardoned (why?) by Donald; his children who were using Trump charity as their loose change box and were ordered to have no more charities and take classes on what a non profit is.... Donald would have been assigned, but he was Pres at the time... Biden's son broke the law. No argument. But no where near the generations wide Trump crime family
  13. Trump is a traitor to US interests. He just "paused" arms shipments, he is ordering stopping all aid to Ukraine; his defense stooge has order a stop to cyber warfare against Russia; he is in process of ending all economic sanctions against Russia. If that isn't "aiding an abetting the enemy", I don't know what is And don't you dare say Russia is not US enemy
  14. Just to remind Trump backers, the trade deal Trump complains about that is robbing and destroying US is the one his administration put in effect during DJT Part 1. The deal that was the "envy of the world, that would make all 3 economies grow at an unprecedented rate." as he said boasting of the deal back then Trump tends to blame all on Biden.... why not this time? oh, this was 100% his deal, his baby to replace NAFTA... and I suppose it fitting that this moron shoots himself & US with his stupidity regarding tariffs
  15. I used to watch lots of "Life after people"... seems what may happen to this eyesore
  16. Uh, ever consider potential bombers might choose a different site?
  17. "This enchanting beach town remains a prime destination, showcasing an allure that transcends the typical travel calendar." I didn't know AI was capable of sarcasm
  18. I wonder if they got around to fixing CCTV near Erawan Shrine & other sacred spots.... Recall 2015 and reaction after shipping that load of refugees back to certain prison or death.
  19. "...pledged to implement necessary acoustic improvements to prevent further disturbances." Is the 'acoustic improvement" turning volume knob counter clockwise?
  20. "Kritsada now faces serious charges, including participation in a transnational crime syndicate, membership in a secret society, fraud, falsifying computer data, money laundering, and aiding criminal financial activities." All this for 500 baht? Charge him for being stupid... oh wait, the jails would be overflowing if that was enforced. Sound like he is the fall guy... how about the ones who made the real money?
  21. Ah, two devout Buddhist countries squabbling over a chunk of land. Merit anyone? "It may be all Maya, but it's OUR Maya!"
  22. Along the lines of bars raising beer prices because they are seeing fewer customers....
  23. "...alongside those not providing clear accommodation details. " I started coming to Thailand and SE Asia in 1982. Since that time I have NEVER had reservations, yet somehow I always found good accommodations reasonably priced. Mr B-A is worried about tourists not checking in at the pricier joints he represents, nothing to do with disreputable types coming here. Admittedly with internet even lower priced places can have a presence on the net, but not as fancy as the $100+ a night places
  24. What about the part where Macron stops Trump when Don was lying about European aid (said EU money was loans and US was big donor). Put hand on Trumps arm and said money was grants, not loans; and 60% of the aid to Ukraine comes from Europe Hardly a brown noser. Have to look to Republican party for herds of those Watch this: doubt it will be Fox
