It was a lie. There was no basis in fact that refugees / asylum seekers would be permitted entry to the UK via 'Open Borders'.
All true. Nigel has saved us. They already arrive on the beaches through EU open borders, in many cases with the EU holding the gates open for them. Frau Merkel wants us to have more of hers too.

Poppycock. Much more important is how many exports you are prepared to jeopardise by not negotiating in good faith with Boris. Total percentages over 27 countries mean nothing when the export reductions are going to be concentrated in Germany and the low countries.

At least the EU had some pretty good health regulations.
Lots of nasty things on the horizon.
Has anyone ever calculated how many Remainers are also vegans or veggies? I suspect a strong correlation.

Cheering and happily scoffing it in big meaty burgers. If you don't want it, don't buy it - simples.
Lots of choice on the horizon.

Yes we do want it. Particularly HS3 too.
It's the twenty first century and the whole country should benefit from a full high speed rail network. (Even the Scottish part of it!). The current rail network is failing and we all deserve better than tarted-up Victorian remnants. Better sharpen the pencil on the costs though.- 1

The Remainers, the deniers, the fools, will still keep up with their agenda both here on TVF and in the international MSM forum.
For the rest of the UK, yes we are almost free. There’s still a year of probable trickery and deceit from both the EU and our own politicians, but we still need the real patriots to save us from the Remainers inevitable treachery.
Almost free at last.

agreeing with people like Scot123 and Loiner then you are in serious danger of being labeled as such.
Hey Vogie, do you want to come and sit with the cool kids. We won’t call you names like the Remainers do.

Yes, Hammonds Sauce made in England. Boycotted that foreign imposter HP stuff years ago.

I like to look at it from a different perspective.
48% of the population are not stupid.
Never mind, it could be worse. They could be Scotch.

With comments like "little Englanders" do you remember who else was making remarks like that 80 + years ago "Island of shop keepers" didn't end well for him and his country suffered greatly. The sad thing is that so many of these nasty bitter comments are made by nothing more than treasonous traitors, yes that is exactly what use are. We are once again going to be a sovereign nation once again and all British people should be proud. My advice is that if you do not wish to be British or hate Britain so much then hand your passport back and plead asylum in whichever country takes your fancy. Pathetic. Only 12 hours to go and yes I will be celebrating and at 11pm tonight I will toast my VE day with a beautiful malt whisky from my collection.
The Remainers, the deniers, the fools, are all the same types I’m afraid. Lefty liberal, PC loving, UK hating apologists. And now they’ve given themselves a new designation “Woke”. I think they would be all sleep walking us to oblivion if allowed to have their way.

Good idea. Hope they realise this will apply to all the scrounging Europeans claiming UK benefits, while hanging around on street corners drinking Tyskie.
DWP will save a fortune and be able to increase pensions for all those UK citizens who paid in all their working lives.

We can thank Nigel for bringing this to the attention of the voters who are still being bombarded with lefty luvvies offering other people’s accommodations and benefits to the hordes. No more EU route and quotas for the UK.

Congrats Fritzy, you’ll be spending more than just time. You’ll have to spend much more on all those net receiver countries now.
And you’re welcome to them.- 1

That flag was not waved in my name.
Glad you didn’t enjoy it. I loved it. The other MEPs and Remainers are so far up themselves, it’s so satisfying to watch them sneering and looking down their upturned supercilious noses even when they are losing.
Chin up old chap.

It looks like they had a great time and Nigel made another Sterling speech. At least until that sour faced biddy turned his mike off.
Never mind, they waved the EU goodbye with a flurry of banned union flags.- 5

Not Reuters, government spending watchdog.
“It is not clear that the campaign resulted in the public being significantly better prepared,” said Gareth Davies, the head of the National Audit Office.
Looks fairly noncommittal to me. No comment from them whether he should or shouldn’t have had the campaign, or spent the whole of the remaining budget.
Reuters Remainerism still at work, plus TVF propaganda.

Don’t the UK now have a WHOLE month the sort their trade priorities before formal negotiations start with the EU in March?

Do you seriously believe they have done nothing over the past 3+ years?
Wow, talk about being seriously uninformed.

Reuters is reporting the findings of a UK Government Spending Watchdog.
Uncomfortable facts, but nevertheless facts.
There’s no particular slagging by the National Audit Office. Only comment by Remainers and Reuter’s slagging Boris.
It was obviously the Remainers deniers and fools who were not significantly better prepared, and all because they didn’t believe it.- 2

The delay was largely taken up between the Hard Brexiteers and everybody else. Fortunately there will not be a Hard Brexit on Jan 31 and who can we thank for that? Boris. Well done.
No. The delay was all caused by the Remainers, the deniers, the fools. We’ve even had the fools on here gloating at delays since last March.
Hard Brexit could still be possible, depending on other deniers like Varadkar who could veto.

What the big dog barks about only matters within its own back yard. Once we are on the other side of the fence (from Saturday), it’s just another poodle yapping.
What we we sell in our domestic market, or to the rest of the world, is not the business of the EU. Doggone it. The UK is free to set its own standards.

So is Reuter’s slagging Boris for instigating the campaign, or for spending less than half the whole budget? Can they really not find anything specific to slag him off about, so resorting to just another general anti-Boris and anti-Brexit article?
How about slagging those who caused three years delay - the Remainers, the deniers, the fools.

Varadkar may have kissed something but it certainly wasn’t the Blarney Stone. Total BS with which he would have trouble convincing himself.
He’s the pythonesque one, more parrot selling shopkeeper than Black Knight. His visions of keeping EU shackles on the UK are dead, deceased demised etc- 8

Engurlund will be going it alone. Accept that. It's what you voted for.
The whole of UK will be going together. It’s what WE voted for, even if a few porridge noshers didn’t.
Brexit is already proving to be great. Accept that. It’s what you are stuck with.

EU leaders remind Britain: No membership, no benefits

My grandchildren, and everybody else's grandchildren will still be able to do that. They will just have to get a job first - preferably a proper job with full expat package. They won't be able to go scrounge in some other country to abuse its benefits system and infrastructure, all at the expense of the local citizens.
Tough but fair.
