I am aware that it is not an email address which would be a highly unlikely way for immigration to accept reports.

It would appear that another poster made a mistake simple mistake confusing a url with an email address.

I have successfully used the online reporting 5 times when it is actually working. However the last time it was stuck in pending for 8 days ( normally 2 day approval) so I also mailed in. Quite ironic for imm to promote online reporting when my last attempt failed.

I’ve been able to successfully use the online system only once in 2 years.

Was this received by all and sundry or just special people?

That’s NOT an email address. That’s the url to the IM website to input your 90 day report WHICH HARDLY EVER WORKS.

  4. I’ve had about 4 outpatient visits in the last 3 months for my heart and ended up having an angiogram performed (no stents) with an overnight stay in a private room for less than 100k baht. I was quite pleased with the outpatient charges as well as the angiogram costs and the treatment in general was excellent.

  5. And today we had to close all windows at 11am as the burning started up again but this time the wind carried the smoke directly towards and into our neighborhood. We live about 3/4 miles from the field. I just vacuumed up the ashes from the area around the house and will have to vacuum the pool tomorrow.

  6.

Tried last Tue (26 Sept) to do the 90 day online. No success in completing the data input. Site would just lock up.

Sent to IM by registered mail Wed (27 Sept); received by IM next day.

Sent back yesterday by IM to to me by my registered mail envelope I had included with my original submittal and I received my new slip today.

If one does not have a TM 30 receipt in their passport you will not be issued a queue # to renew a 1 yr. visa you will be directed upstairs to register. People arrive early to get a # only to be turned away.

Wrong. I renewed my annual extension of stay without presenting a TM30.

  9. I live in Maejo. Within the last year surges and spikes in electrical voltage have fried the control/logic boards in my washing machine, a room air con (& fried the unit's fan motor), and last week, the oven clock/timer.
After the washing machine circuit board was replaced, we now unplug our washer & dryer when not in use. After the air con repair, we now keep the circuit breakers for all our air cons & hot water heaters off when not in use. The oven is on a circuit shared with other outlets and I'm planning to have that re-wired to its own dedicated circuit breaker so I can turn the breaker off when not in use. Remember- electronic devices and appliances always are receiving electricity and risk of damage when not in use. For all of our electronics and other appliances I bought high quality surge protectors from Lazada for all of the electrical outlets theses are connected to.

I've been using True Internet for the past 4 years, and never had any problems. I can only remember the net being down twice in all those years, and only for a few hours each. Speeds are fast enough for any live viewing, and with reliability like this, I have absolutely no complaints.

I used True for 4 years as well. But their product is overpriced compared to 3BB and with 3BB I get fiber optic technology and True was only coax cable. Performance overall is much better and at less cost.  In fact I dumped True Visions at the same time and now just stream my TV content and no longer pay True 2500+ per month for content that just kept getting worse and worse and more expensive (I.e., loss of HBO, etc)

Was this CNX to Bangkok ?, it's once it tries to Thailand to overseas sites that matter.

    regards worgeordie

Yes. Speeds will get much slower once your traffic goes overseas thru Thailand's single gateway. I'm able to stream television shows here from the US using a VPN and so far I've rarely experienced any freezing, slowing or buffering.

I am also a satisfied client of Homikitch. They recently installed units on my deck to replace Index units that literally fell apart after five years. The attention to detail and careful selection of materials for a covered outdoor installation were excellent and so was the customer service. Yes you pay a premium for Homikitch but it certainly is worth it.

I also had Homikitch quote us prices for our kitchen. They were 25% more expensive than IKEAs prices and for pressed board materials way overpriced in my view

I've been in the IKEA store in Bangkok and really liked the look of the kitchen and the fact you can use the design tool on their U.K. website that seems to be compatible with what they stock here in Thailand.  But, what kind of support would they provide for a customer in Chiang Mai?  Free shipping to Chiang Mai?  Contractors in Chiang Mai who do a quality job with installation of IKEA kitchens?

There is an IKEA order and drop-off point in Phuket, but nothing similar seems to exist for Chiang Mai.

When we were building our home in Maejo 4 years ago, we went to Ikea in Bangkok and had them design/quote cabinets for our kitchen. Shipping to Chiangmai was an extra, and installation was to be accomplished by their personnel/contractor who would travel from Bangkok to your home to install- crew travel, lodging & labor was at the buyer's expense.

While the Ikea cabinetry was less expensive than one of the major cabinetry companies here in CM, we found a factory in Ban Tawai who for half the price of the Ikea cabinets designed, built, installed and serviced our kitchen cabinets made from solid teak. We liked their work so much we later had them design and build other cabinetry in our home, our dining table, pool deck furniture, bedroom and bathroom furniture and cabinets, etc.
