My wife is Thai I am English, We live in the UK. We have a dayghter she is 18 months old. We are planning a long trip to LOS. I did enquire a while back on a visa for her ( My daughter ). I found a very easy way round the visa. We registered the birth of our daughter at the Thai embassy and we also were able to apply for a Thai passport for her. That means she is able to go with my wife at anytime for as long as they wish.

I also hope at some point it will help with visa's for me when we settle there to live. ::

I want to book my wife ( Thai ) and child a flight to Burram from BK in November. Is it safe and reliable to book on-line or is it best left to doing it in BK.

If its any use I have a contact that can get Eva flights for around £450 inc tax, and even cheaper ones Depending obviosly on how much you are prepared to put your life in the hands of the cheap airlines. Eg: Aeroflot will get you there for under £400inc tax.

We are going in Novenber to LOS. We being my wife ''Thai'' my daughter 2years old and two of our freinds. We would normally try to go where there are some beaches as we all do enjoy soaking up the sun and the baby does love running around on the beach. I have heard the Chang Ria / Mai should not be missed. We could settle for a nice pool I guess. Please if you have been to the mentioned areas can you comment on what there is do and maybe suggest hotels or guest houses and prices.

I was in Hua Hin last year. There I met a man that was staying there. He had a two bed apartment, down stairs shower room, thai kitchen, living room and patio area. It was in a compound well secured. Ten mins from the hospital. He was paying £150 per month. Hua Hin seams to be more secure than Pattaya also cleaner, people also seam to be a little more honest. Look into it. Up to you I would think a similar size house in Pattaya would cost the same. Also some of the Hotels offer good long term stay prices.

Dianna Group have some great appartments near Mike Shopping Mall that are cheap. And very nice.

I told my family honestly about my wife and her profession. Although surprised they were fine, I did explain about thaialand the things people seam to have to do to get anywhere in life. Infact my Mother had a bit of a slanging match with my then English girlfreind that I finished with after going to Thailand with my pals.
