I am leaving Buriram for a holiday on the 19th jan ish, with my wife and daughter and probably one of my wifes Nieces ! to go to Phuket for a chillout. There are loads to choose from, need a pool and near beach of course a bar and resturant would be good. nothing to posh or plastic, just good reasonable thai accomadation. Can pay upto 20000 tb per night

Refrance the burger thing, what a crock of rubbish. I cant think that any respectfull Isaan lady will rather get fat and eat rubbish than eat Papaya Salad, maybe burger and salad !! They crave spicy food.

it is what you want it to be, I met the most amazing woman in the world there. She is now my wife. We have daughter she is three years old and as dlelightfull as her mother. We have been all over Thailand and i must say there are nicer palces than Pattaya but Pattaya is so fun for all, loads to do loads of fun for all. Cheap as chips and 1.5 hours from Bangers.

Where else can you get a hotel for £10 with a pool and resturant and bar and load of nice happy staff. Oh thats right nowhere.

Going fishing at a lake in Buriram, been told there is some big carp in the also ecpect some other bit and bobs.

Anyone know what fish to expect and what bait the carp ect like ?

Best food is from the street vendors if you ask me it is the best bet, I recon that as they buy small amounts of the fresh meat needed for the dishes that it is always going to be fresha s it is not hanging around and they cant afford to loose customers hence to consistant quality of the food it all turns over so fats and it usually cooked to order .. Very good food. I am stuck here in UK just the thought of a good street food meal and a nice cold Singha makes me want to jump on the plane

There is a man that has built a small bungalow complex with a pool and bar in Buriram at Bangruad, think it cost him a fair amount of money particularly the pool believe he paid about 2 million baht for that. Not sure how he is doing with it, not sure he will make his money back but guess he will have an intrest and an income form it. Anybody been there or know how he is doing ????

Comming to Samui in two weeks just wondering if how much sun screen to pack, is it nice and sunny ?????
