"This is not chaos" -Darren Jones
Keir Starmer’s government is not in chaos, the prime minister’s new chief secretary, Darren Jones, has said, following an emergency reshuffle triggered by Angela Rayner’s resignation as deputy prime minister. The cabinet reshuffle, originally planned for later in the autumn, was brought forward by Starmer in an attempt to assert control after Rayner was forced to step down from all three of her roles, having been found to have breached the ministerial code over her tax arrangements. Asked whether the public should view the flurry of ministerial changes as instability—just a week into the new parliamentary session and only days after Starmer announced he had begun “phase two” of his premiership—Jones told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme that the reshuffle was in fact a demonstration of leadership. “No, this is not chaos,” he said. “This reshuffle was accelerated ahead of what [Starmer] had wanted to do. That’s not chaos, that’s leadership. He acted in the moment and decided to get on with it.” Adapted From: https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2025/sep/06/not-chaos-darren-jones-defends-reshuffle-angela-rayner

Prof dr Ian BRIGHTHOPE > Increased cancer rates from mRNA shots
With reference to your above study. It said this: Conclusions. The subjects who received SARS-CoV-2 vaccination showed almost half the risk of all-cause death after a median follow-up of 25 months. We also observed an inconstant association between COVID-19 vaccination and cancer hospitalization, depending on infection status, cancer site, and the minimum lag-time between vaccination and cancer. As the results might be influenced by the confounding effect of a differential healthcare utilization by vaccinated individuals, they must be considered preliminary, and further data are definitely required to elucidate the potential association between cancer and COVID-19 vaccination.

Meghan Markle 'With Love'...Netflix.
Meghan Markle’s latest Netflix series has recently been released, but it hasn’t been well received by everyone. A royal commentator has criticised season two of With Love, Meghan, advising viewers to give it a miss. The new series focuses on cooking, gardening, and hosting tips. However, much like the first season, it has drawn attention from critics. When asked whether people should watch it, Sky News Australia royal commentator Esthe Krakue delivered a blunt seven-word verdict: "Only if you’re a glutton for punishment." Passenger says 'shut up' to flight attendant American Airlines
A passenger on an American Airlines flight from Costa Rica to Dallas caused a scene during the pre-flight safety briefing. She interrupted the demonstration and accused the flight attendant of harassment. In a video later shared online, the woman could be heard telling the crew member to “shut up.” The clash quickly drew the attention of those seated nearby. The flight attendant stood her ground, asking if the passenger wanted to leave the aircraft. She added that she didn’t feel comfortable continuing the journey with someone unwilling to follow instructions. Canadian Meat Eating Study
A new Canadian study suggests eating meat could actually help protect the body from cancer, challenging years of health warnings. Red meat has long been valued as a source of protein and vitamins, but agencies such as the World Health Organization have labelled it “probably carcinogenic.” Researchers at McMaster University analysed data from more than 16,000 adults and compared animal and plant protein intake with deaths from cancer, heart disease, and other causes. Their results point to animal protein offering protective benefits rather than harm. Published in Applied Physiology, Nutrition, and Metabolism, the study found no link between typical protein consumption and a higher risk of death. The authors say meat can be part of a healthy diet when eaten in normal amounts. Angela Rayner Resigns..
Angela Rayner has resigned amid a scandal over unpaid stamp duty on her Hove flat. The Deputy Prime Minister and Housing Secretary admitted underpaying £40,000 on the property bought earlier this year. An inquiry into whether she breached the ministerial code has now reported its findings to the Prime Minister. Rumours of her imminent departure had been swirling all morning, and it is now confirmed that she has left the Government. Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch said: "Angela Rayner is finally out. The delay shows Keir Starmer’s weakness. Britain deserves better leadership." Adapted From: Daily Express https://share.google/5YaL71PCLx19n9JFy

El Chapo’s Jail Conditions Alarming
Notorious drug kingpin El Chapo is reportedly showing “strange and worrying changes” during his solitary confinement in a US maximum-security prison, his former lawyer says. Mariel Colón, who once represented the Sinaloa Cartel leader, claims his mental state is suffering at ADX Florence in Colorado. El Chapo, real name Joaquín Guzmán, was arrested for a final time in Mexico in 2016 before being extradited to the US. Colón said the prison conditions are becoming harsher, noting changes in the 68-year-old that she described as “a little worrying.” Her comments highlight the severe psychological impact of extreme isolation. Experts continue to monitor his situation, as prolonged solitary confinement takes a serious toll on inmates. Adapted From: The Mirror https://share.google/Sp74TlMEpZGQPGKYW

UK Airports Best/Worst Heathrow 13th
Travellers have named the best and worst airports across the UK—and the results don’t flatter some of the busiest. A recent survey, carried out by consumer group Which?, gathered opinions from almost 6,000 people, who rated airports on factors such as seating, security checks, cleanliness of facilities, food costs, and overall customer service. Smaller regional airports topped the rankings for providing a calmer, less stressful experience, while the major hubs were marked down for overcrowding, long delays, and steep prices. London Heathrow, the country’s largest and busiest airport, failed to impress. It placed 13th overall, with Terminal 5 earning the highest marks at 59%. Terminals 2, 3, and 4 all performed similarly, hovering in the mid-50s. For one of the world’s busiest international gateways, the showing was notably underwhelming. Heathrow, however, rejected the findings. A spokesperson argued that the survey was based on “unrepresentatively small samples and personal recollections,” pointing out that the aviation industry already gathers extensive performance data, reviewed and published by the Civil Aviation Authority.
