  1. Yes I meant gastroscopy. Apologies the confusion. Thank you for the info. I think that's what I need to do. I will try chula. Thanks
  2. Hello. I need to have an endoscopy (and maybe Colonoscopy but that's not as crucial) done and wondering if anyone had any recommendations. I need to avoid the high end private hospitals as 20-30k+ is too much. Can anyone recommend any lower end private hospitals or fairly decent government hospitals and any doctor recommendations? Is it possible to get endoscopy and Colonoscopy for 10-15k these days, don't even mind travelling out of Bangkok if needed. Any advice appreciated. Thanks
  3. Yes that's the same guy I met. Just a horrible human being who loves his power trip.
  4. I was again very lucky because I did give him one of those fake $16 tickets and clenched my ass cheeks as he looked at it hoping he wouldn't smell a rat 5555
  5. As has been mentioned in another thread this border point is definitely one to avoid if you want a quick out-in. I hadn't seen the other thread mentioning the problems before going today and was expecting an easy hassle free border hop and it was completely the opposite. My history. 13 years or so in Thailand on mostly non o visas or marriage extensions. Last 6 months before coming to Thailand this year I was in UK and came here in october on visa exempt which I extended for 30 days. Yes I know I should have had a visa but with reports of an easy hop nong khai seemed a good option rather than the hassle of getting a visa and I plan to go back to UK again at the end of this 3 month stint. Anyway the IO (one of the worst I have faced and I've had some bad ones) asked why I was coming back in after just leaving. I explained it was just to stay an extra 2 month to stay with my wife and son. ' cannot' was the answer. Told to wait in a separate area where the same guy came and asked loads of questions saying i had to back to Laos, he said he would let me back in after 2-3 days. Anyway after much pleading and begging he relentled and said if I could show a ticket back to UK he would let me in. So after booking onwardtravel tricket he accepted it and I got in. Horrible experience but suppose I was still one of the lucky ones. As a side note, while I was in the queue they were giving anothrt guy a bit of hassle and I kept hearing him saying ' I have a visa '.
  6. Can somebody help with what I did wrong. I have a multi non o marriage rom savannakhet which I got July last year. My 2nd 90 day entry expired last week so I went just before to CW to extend for the extra 60 day but was refused and only offered 7 days. I spoke to a few other officers afterward to confirm and they all said the same thing. Only 7 days extra allowed. I quickly had to arrange a flight out and back. Any ideas?
  7. I have a multi non o and tried to do this extension this week at CW but they only offered me 7 days, unless you mean it can only be done on the last entry of the visa before it's expiration?
  8. Hey all, Will there be any issues doing a straight in and out at Poi Pet Border with a Multi Entry Non O? I understand it can be tricky there without a visa but would I have any issues with a Valid Non O? Normally I would do an overnighter to Phnom Penh but just want a quick and easy alternative this time Many thanks for any advice
