Not really. the Christian churches adopted pagan festivals and changed them into Holy days in order to in over the populace without trying to outlaw their traditional beliefs. Change them over softly softly.

How exactly after this vote can at least 54% of the Scottish supporters sing these lines in the Scottish Anthem
