  1. Yes we were basing it on our current house but are now around 50% finished building our new house. I expect it to be double the bill with a pool and extra air con At the moment we have a 12k btu inverter on at least 18 hours a day Also a 18k btu inverter on almost 24hrs a day at least 22hrs Another 12k btu running around 8hrs a day
  2. In the uk 24 cans of baked beans and a pack of 100 tetley tea bags.
  3. If 2000 units a month i would need around 60 panels? Or maybe 20 and a battery or 2 Is this correct?
  4. Hahaha sorry i meant a month
  5. I did see before someone mention about the meter running backwards but was told today all new meters for Solar will be digital
  6. Sorry for the questions. So would i be able to charge 2 batteries and still use all the air cons in the day and have enough for the evening I guess i will be using around 1500-2000 units a month when we finish building the house and pool. We are building a new house 2 x 24k btu running probably 8 hrs a day 1 x 18k btu running 18 hrs a day 1 x 12k btu running 18 hrs a day All inverters New pool so need to run the pump. Nothing much else apart from a pc 2-3 hours a day At the moment at our current house we use around 1000 units
  7. Many thanks for the info We are building a new house 2 x 24k btu running probably 8 hrs a day 1 x 18k btu running 18 hrs a day 1 x 12k btu running 18 hrs a day All inverters New pool so need to run the pump. Nothing much else apart from a pc 2-3 hours a day Never thought about charging a battery or 2 .but then they are expensive .
  8. Just been to Homepro and trying to understand this package. They say 18 units will be good for 9.90kwp We currently are paying around 4-4500 baht a month and they say this will be easily enough as it covers around 5200- 6100 baht They say 1 panel will produce around 1 unit each day Am I missing something as that looks like 558 units. Per month which is 558x4.15 per unit probably only 2300 baht? Also 425,000 seems a lot . with a battery 800+
  9. We are building a house at the moment and the electrician has asked if we want any other switches and i have asked for 6 connections with switches ready for floodlights He charged 3000 baht which i thought was good. Might use solar on other areas at a later stage but easy and cheap to put cables in before the walls are plastered. If 10,000 baht i would go for the solar option
  10. Just about to go to homepro and have a look at wired sensor versions Don't fancy solar ones as had a few in the past and don't fancy having to change them when the battery fails Especially as some will be high up .
  11. Looks very nice. Almost the same siize as what we are going to build. Do you think the overflow style is worth the extra $$$?.
  12. I bet that's perfect , I meant without the shade it would be hot. Think I need to do at least 1.8m to stop it getting too hot
  13. Must admit Trump isnt so bad every cloud and all that
  14. This looks great and shade is a must i expect it will be like a hot bath most of the year
  15. Many thanks for the info. My concern is keeping the pool cool as go to so many resorts where the water is too hot. Not sure I would ever want to heat it ,maybe for a week or 2 in the cold season.
  16. Is it worth paying extra for an overflow type ? I do love the look of them but they will bump the price up quite a bit
  17. Thanks very much Yes we got quoted 880k for a 10 x 4 (1.2-1.5) Your pool looks perfect maybe 1.8 max will be enough for us
  18. Just about to get a pool built and interested in your thoughts, 1. An overflow pool looks better in my opinion but is it worth the extra cost? 2. would a 1.2 sloped to 1.5 meter pool be deep enough if you have gone with 1.5 maximum do you wish you built a deeper pool? Any photos of your pool would be great for ideas around 10-12m meter length would be ideal Looking at spending around 800k
  19. I had a Zippo but to be fair any lighter at the time would have been ok Nothing else on the list would of been of any interest.
  20. I am sure he was just collecting taxes for Trump. Nothing to see here
  21. Did he try to tax 36% on all winnings?
  22. Might need to find a qualified electrician if you need 5 so called electricians Had many items repaired over the years and always the first electrician will find the fault. Is your friend Bob by any chance?
