  1. Quick bikes like blades and gixers are great fun but not for me in Thailand I have seen far too many deaths here mainly due to the locals who pass their test by driving around a car park and watching a video. I have known a few people who have died on thai rides sadly all on fast bikes and none were their fault. Love bikes in the UK and dirt bikes here are great fun when you can keep away from all the nutters on the roads but good luck to you if you are a fast rider over here . The amount of near misses i had here before on a Gixer from cars changing lanes for the fun of it i keep to dirt bikes now. Only my fault when i fall off(which is often) A v6 raptor here would be ideal .
  2. That's your opinion but i would love a V6 . Plenty of places in Thailand that would be great on and off road. Not sure the inline five would be something i would be looking at.
  3. It seems like he is saying that he didn't eat any of the food. Maybe he ordered it and then thought oh no i do not like the look of that and walked off without paying.
  4. Might have been the Wildtrak/Xlt with a raptor grill put on it.
  5. Thats great thanks and hopefully its a much easier process than all the hoops i usually have to jump through with the marriage visa.
  6. I have never heard of this and used the Fixed deposit for years with no problems with the 400k marriage visa. I was thinking about changing to the 800k retirement option but now concerned that they might want to see money being moved around which i can't be bothered witb doing. Anyone else had problems with the 800k retirement fixed deposit proof? Only wanting to make life easier and not have to take a stack of paperwork and photos in for the marriage visa .
  7. Sounds like he might of been drunk ! Off road tyres like BF's would not cause any trouble at that sort of speed!
  8. I have always used the marriage 400k option and i am looking at maybe changing to the retirement 800k option Do i need the extra 400k in the bank 3 months in advance or would i be able to do it now as my visa is ready to renew in around 2 months time. I expect its much easier doing a retirement visa . Is it just a case of showing 800k or is there more bs that is needed?
  9. I might just buy the new 2.0l bi tubo wildtrak at 999,000 and get a sticker made up saying "I identify as a Raptor"
  10. Now that looks awesome.looks like you have spent a fair bit on that .love it
  11. 3.0 v6 Your looking at the older models 2.2 and 3.2
  12. Hi so i have always loved the Toyota Hilux and still own a 4x4 Revo but i am starting to show an unhealthy interest in the new v6 Raptor I know Transam i am like you i love how reliable the Toyota's are and they have never let me down. This is the first time since i had a Ford Fiesta back in the uk that i am looking at a Ford.(and that was a rusty pile a sh7t before it went to the scapyard. Only concern i have is Ford have had many problems in the past but willing to take the chance Has anyone got the new V6 Raptor as i would love to know your thoughts?
  13. Not sure your right about that!
  14. Don't cut your hair or buy a house car on a Wednesday. Purple clothes are a bad choice of colour for clothes as it means you will be alone.
  15. Yes i thought that and thought that maybe some money was taken off for distribution costs.
