I was looking at changing from TOT (NT) 590 baht a month 1000/500 To Ais Fibre but packages seem almost the same and speeds from my current Fibre connection to pc are more than fast enough . For the home I would never be able to give up the fibre connection as it keeps 4 of us with extremely quick Internet.

Just an update we have also got a 100gb net marathon sim from Ais and while in Hua Hin staying in a hotel in the centre we were getting much better speeds from the Ais than the Thunder(555) NT sim . Saying that even at home in Bangkok the Ais was quicker every time we tested was around 13mbps-24mbps The NT sim was lucky to get 3mbps in Hua hin and since going back to Bangkok it has dropped to 4-5 mbps The Ais is limited to 100gb a month which is more than enough but the NT is unlimited but so slow that we probably would not use it much. These are fine for travelling and cheap for 1 year but nothing replaces a quick fibre like TOT at 600 baht 1000/500mbps a month which . Tempted to move to Ais fibre but not sure it would make any difference .

There Is a facebook group where they are trying to get the 2 Burmese released but it doesn't look good even with new found evidence. I feel the family is so well protected even though everyone knows who it is , Nothing is going to change.

I used to spend months at a time on the island between 1997-2001 and is was absolutely beautiful. Stopped going when it started get more crowded and only just went back last year for a few days. Really sad how it has changed ! I took my son to shark bay which is difficult to get to now and all the coral is dead and sharks have disappeared. The main areas have become an eyesore. Sadly if this poor man had died anywhere else in Thailand it probably would not have made the news but as this is the notorious Koh Tao it is questionable. Rip .

Yes still better than my dtac sim was most of the time. You would need to check at your location with the 199 baht first.

Well just received the sim card from NT and it seems faster than the Dtac sim at my location but I expect its much better in the city. Happy with it so far and for the price 999 baht it's a bargain. Not going to replace a good fiber connection in the house but still for this price it's fantastic as a back up and to go away with as its in the Tp-link mobile WiFi and getting between 8 and 14 mbps at the moment

It's not going to be nearly as good as a 3bb vdsl but I will let you know today as I will have the NT sim soon

I was reading about how bad covid has been lately in China. I see Thailand has not disappointed us once again with welcoming this nation back with open arms. I hope I am wrong but I was happy to see the country slowly getting back on its feet and now I fear this might be what knocks it back down again.

I still really like TOT but starting to look at changing to True or AIS . I still am not sure if its worthwhile as i only pay 650 baht a month for 1000/500 and thats is good wifi connections for 4 of us. The sim i use is going into a t-plink mobile router that is good when we go away which is as often as possible . Just cancelled the dtac 30mbps as for the last year i was only getting around 10 at best Lets see what this NT Thunder is like. Just purchased for 999baht so not the end of the world if it turns out slow. I will let you know when i receive it.

I have used TOT for 15 years always have been very good and must have been a year ago the last time i had no internet and that was for about 12 hours

Thanks yes Ais has not only been better at my location but also when we travel we have used both Ais and Dtac and it seems almost always the Ais sim provides better speed. Thats for your reply i might look at the Ais 100gb monthly

Just bought a 30mbps Dtac so it should be at least as good as my current 20mbps Dtac maybe slightly faster. Hi yes we travel around quite a lot but it seems not much in it between the providers but Ais has always seemed faster.

It probably was just the area we are located in but Ais was at least as good if not faster with a 10 mbps compared to the dta 20mbps. It seems even while using it as a hotspot while on holiday it never seemed as fast as the Ais . I am going to by a Ais 12 months now on Lazada and see. Just bought a tp link pocket wifi and that has improved speed quite a lot compared to my old Samsung hotspot.

So another year and my Dtac 20mbps unlimited is coming to an end Whats the best value at the moment I had an Ais 10mbps sim the year before and it was as good if not beeter than the Dtac Not sure about True i have seen mixed reviews. Seems like they have 30mbps unlimited now

Regarding adding a pool to a upcoming house build , it seems it would be best to have the pool in the shade if possible. I have heard mixed ideas about the best place /position.

I have seen a report that her mother said the low balcony was outrageous but how I look at it is if its that dangerous I would not rent the room . If I am likely to have lots of drinks with it being new years eve then a low balcony on a high floor would not be what I would be renting.

Schools just open around the start of May. Nice long holiday then a 4 day break.
