  1. I have been with 3BB for many years and they are vgood. Our next door neighbour had cable TV installed but their installers cut our fibre. 3BB had me up and running in under 2 hours???? I have 1Gb/s down 100Mb/s up for B600/m and this is all I need. The usage is unlimited and the speed consistent. I use over 300GB each month because I stream IPTV. If you want an IPTV recommendation then message me ???? 3BB will supply a DTAC 10GB data SIM at DTAC's max speed which I have not been able to work out but believe it is 100Mb/s on 4G for an extra B100/m I kust remembered, you are in a condo and, unless things have changed, 3BB will only install fo up to the 4th floor. You need to check this as if you are on a higher floor you may be forced towards the LTE router. AIS have a 5G unlimited 1Gb/s symmetrical up/down speed for B1200/m and will throw in a 50GB SIM free of charge. I feel the choice between an LTE 5G router and fibre is now a close call. I am considering adding an AIS 5G unlimited data connection to my 3BB fo so that is how close the call is. If you wnat any further into message me ???? cheersD
  2. VPNunlimitedted: $40 Lifetime from https://bit.ly/3nvYAzV and I have had them for over 5 years with no issues. You can read a review here: https://bit.ly/3hf7Vry and for streaming IPTV you need to use the Wireguard protocol. You can read all about Wireguard here: https://bit.ly/2Z39V0w cheersD
  3. It seems most, if not all, IPTV providers were hit with Sky shenanigans last week!
  4. Agreed and far more firepower than FireSticks which everyone else seems to recommend????
  5. so this is what I answered???? You never mentioned 'certified' in your post so I was not to know????
  6. I have a choice of SD, HD or FD. The beeb does not transmit in FD but other broadcasters do. I don't want to quote broadcasters names on this forum so if you want more info. or my stream source please send me a PM.
  7. Why do you say the HK1 will not play 4k? Maybe you should have taken a gander at my link, "https://bit.ly/3rv6ZDE" as 8K far exceeds 4K! Unfortunately I do not have an 8K source in order to test this claim???? Before you say you were talking about the HK1 I did say to the HK1 poster it was a good choice of CPU. In other words both boxes have the same CPU. The poster did not include a link so who knows if the HK1 claims to play 8K. In case you are too busy to open my link the most important specs are:- What more can you ask for.
  8. but my Ethernet, 2.4GHz and 5Ghz tests were conducted in the same room as the router and 2.4GHz won hands down. This does not make any sense as using a WiFi Analyser I can see many interfering signals on the 2.4GHz band but only there is only me on 5GHz band + one other party who does not interfere! When I say 2.4GHz won hands down I should add I was using testmy.net connected to a Singapore server. When using nperf.com the 5GHz band was around 3x the download speed and 5x the upload speed of the 2.4GHz band when connected to local (Thai based) servers. The corollary being to ensure you test like with like otherwise you will be confused. Where IPTV is concerned you need to ascertain where your suppliers servers are located but this is digressing from your original question so I will leave it there. I will send you a pm tom.
  9. JetSet, you sure have humour???????????????????? must be a man after my own heart so remind me to buy you a ???? or ????
  10. and a good choice. I use https://bit.ly/3rv6ZDE which is an identical STB but with 64GB eMMC and called an X96 Air but the important point is the CPU which you have spot on???? I thought it was worth paying just a little more for the extra memory so I can record programs without having to faff around with an SD card.
  11. I believe this to be correct as I only ever see my download speed drop when I use a VPN.
  12. Same same so I gave up on Ethernet! Interestingly, my best IIG download speed is when I use 2.4GHz WiFi which is NOT what anyone will tell you.
  13. and if you really want to kill buffering dead on a Live TV stream you need an IPTV supplier with servers in Thailand. To that end there are not many IPTV suppliers with servers in Thailand. When you add the popular farang requirement the IPTV supplier must also have catch-up it becomes very difficult and in fact, I only know of one IPTV supplier with servers in Thailand that also has catch-up???? If you do not mind delaying your 'Live' feed by a few minutes you can create a Live feed buffer using VLC as your IPTV player but that is another story.
  14. I forgot to say that you should select SD if your stream is buffering. My IPTV stream has 3 sources onmost channels, FD, HD & SD. If Pulse-TV has the same options then select SD as this requires the lowest BW.
  15. BTW: This link, https://bit.ly/38FcyGN has interesting stats on the Thai Internal & International Internet Gateway for those that are interested in this sort of thing????
  16. Hi JetSet, we meet again???? I can't remember if I mentioned it or not but the main cause of buffering is the Bandwidth (BW) of the ISP's International Internet Gateway (IIG). Quite a mouthful but it boils down to how much capacity the ISP allocates to the IIG i.e. how much money are they prepared to pay up front. When the ISP allocation is fully utilised by bods like you and I, the result is buffering. I can assure you the allocation by ISP's in Thailand has improved dramatically over the years and it is most unlikely to be a Pulse-TV issue. Regarding speed tests here you have to be very careful as the likes of Ookla measure the Up/Down speed using local servers which is of no use to you whatsoever. Op JB is so correct when he said to use Testmy.net or Fast.com but be careful with Fast because if you look at the settings you will see Fast use between 1 & 8 parallel connections. Pulse-TV have only one connection to your router so you need to change the Fast setting from 1-8 to 1-1. The other problem with Fast is they are testing the Internet connection from the UK to Thailand which is again, not what you want. With Testmy.net you can set the location of the server and in your case you need to set the server location to Singapore for LIve streams and Germany for movies and series. I am not sure about catch-up TV so no comment. Pulse-TV have 2 servers for Live TV streams located in Singapore. If you ever have buffering on a LIve feed again play a movie or series as these servers are located in Germany. Your download speed is very dependant on time of day, server location and how many bods are trying to share the 3BB downlaod BW. Regarding your initial question, as far as I am aware no ISP has a 'Special' International package.
  17. I checked with Pulse-TV re the number of simultaneous feeds and this was their response:- iv) With each subscription you are allowed to use on up to 4 devices at the same time. With each login the system logs the IP address and would only allow consecutive logins if the IP address's match (you cannot use from different locations at the same time). As I said, this is unbelievable. BTW. I also enquired about their server location and for the streaming channels they use two load balancing servers in Singapore which explains why Pulse-TV customers experience very little buffering. For VOD, their servers are located in Germany. Regarding my catch-up enquiry Pulse-TV replied:- v) With every channel there are 24 hours of catch-up available. The first 5 channels (BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, Channel 4 and Channel 5) have 48 hours catch-up. We are in the process of testing a new system that has 7 days catch-up for all channels). It just seems to get better and better????
  18. Unbelievable!!!!! Yes, you deserve 5 of '!' because everybody but everybody charges more for an additional box. To put it bluntly, my Flabber has been Ghasted???? I will definitely have to check out Pulse for someone that wants 3 feeds. FYI: some IPTV providers lock the login info to the STB so Pulse providing two feeds at the same time for the price of one is amazing. cheersD Oops, I forgot to say many thanks for the swift reply and please don't enquire on my behalf just in case Pulse have made a mistake with your billing. In other words I do not want you to rock the boat???? Now it is time for a beer or 2 before dinner???????? or should that have been a????
  19. I am very disappointed in the lack of support after I sung their praise. I asked why no support and 2 Admins answered, one Ad said they reply to missed opportunities on the weekend and the other said it was due to a bank holiday. As far as I am concerned, this is quite feeble excuses really???? Maybe I was just lucky but on the other hand for the last two evenings I have experienced buffering but still have not found the root cause i.e. if it is their feed or my ISP so I am still working on it. You may like the reason why it is taking so long to diagnose and the answer is simple. After a late dinner I tend to fall asleep so last night I saw buffering but fell asleep before I could instigate a speed test????
  20. What does same price for 2 mean? It could mean B10k for 1 or B10k for 2. That is the same price for 2 or..... It could mean B10k for 1 or B20k for 2. That is also an interpretation of the same price for 2. I know somebody that wants 3. If it is B10k for 3 then Pulse would seem a good option given everybody is saying Pulse does not buffer and the request for 3 is from a business so any buffering would kill the business.
  21. Use a Smart DNS as all of the major players can easily detect a VPN.. I used to use UnblockUs but they merged with StrongDNS and I was offered a renewable fixed price contract so I finished up with a good deal.
  22. p.p.p.s. I have just had an update where they say they did reply to you. I don't want to post their reply on an open forum as this will expose your email address but drop me a pm and we can continue this conversation in private.
  23. Thanks for the feeback and I did look at Scouser's link but I feel it better to compare two or 3 Trustpilot reviews on IPTV rather than whether or not the reviews are gated:- Best Iptv-uk Reviews | Read Customer Service Reviews of www.best-iptv-uk.me (trustpilot.com) Bestbuyiptv Reviews | Read Customer Service Reviews of bestbuyiptv.com (trustpilot.com) NecroIPTV Reviews | Read Customer Service Reviews of necroiptv.com (trustpilot.com) Now Scouser's link comments can be applied to all and you can now draw your own conclusion. I am sorry that you did not have a successful outcome and this does not bode well for my recommendations. I contacted them about your issue and I was less than impressed with their response so your findings are not unique. I had very little time (days) to evaluate an IPTV provider for the South Africa v British & Irish Lions rugby Internationals so I took a 1 hour trial to ensure I had catch-up on the channels I wanted and went with the Trustpilot review. Give or take, everything has been hunky dory. I know there had been plenty of notice about the timing of the rugby Internationals but closure of my sports bar due to Covid came out of the blue and I needed a rapid solution. The way I looked at it was if I had a month of rugby and the IPTV supplier went pear shaped it was money (£60/yr) well spent so I am regarding everything else as a bonus. All told I am very happy with them and would still recommend and would even go so far as suggesting you adopt my philosophy, sign up for a 3 month package and treat this as a trial. I don't think you will have any regrets especially if you are a footie or UFC fan as these sports are well catered for. If you still have questions about them you can always PM me and I promise to give an honest answer. I have already told you about my dislike of there response to my question about you. You can also try HDPrime but you need to set up an account b4 you can view any info about anything. No CC required to set up an account and apparently they automatically send you an SMS with a 24 hr free trial but this did not work for me. Any questions just ask and I will try to answer. p.s. HDP have been around for many years and you can buy monthly access from a 7/11 store???? p.p.s. be wary as many IPTV suppliers are being forced out of business.
  24. Sorry abut that. You can try their website instead:- https://bestiptvuk.me/request-a-trial/ and they claim a member of their team will respond in minutes???? Maybe you could let me know how you get on as all feedback is good feedback.
  25. Take a gander at https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.best-iptv-uk.me then ask for a trial quoting "A Den2Pies Referral" in the subject asking for a link to their 'Flix' app and login info in your email addressing the email to [email protected] and I can assure you you will not look back???? The subscription is £60/yr and they are excellent as the Trustpilot reviewers have said. They cater exceptionally for Footie fans, have a vgood Film and Series collection in VOD, between 3 & 7 days of catch-up and all of the sports channels you could ask for. If there is a film, cartoon or children's program you want and they do not air ask and they will try vhard to provide. These people are really good at looking after their customers. PM me if you want any other info.
