What MST told us is that the Skyactiv transmission is a combination of technology of CVT, dual clutch and a normal ATF.
So the oil that Idemitsu makes for it is especially engineered to work with that technology. They told us that even if you have an aftermarket product with the same weight, then the additives to the oil are too different to let the transmission work properly, which eventually resulted in our test car braking down before Farm Chokchai

Mazda's make good cars, and you won't run into problems.
One point of advice, last year we did extensive testing for Idemitsu (OEM oil maker for Mazda) and had one Mazda 3 Skyactiv run on OEM fluids and one Mazda 3 Skyactiv run on aftermarket fluids.
The transmission on the latter one broke down after only 150 km as the ATF oil needed for those skyactiv transmissions seems to be quite special. Other items didn't show much problems.
So try to at least use OEM ATF oil for the skyactiv models.

I bought the Nissan Navara NP300 for it's modern safety features, 4x4 drive system, excellent seven speed auto, driving position and best in class handling.
I have fitted a tow bar and adjustable height tow ball and STEEL nudge bar to the front.
Your never 100% safe driving in Thailand or any other country but a quality pickup well prepared and maintained helps mitigate the risk of personal injury; I've only used 4x4's / SUV or pickup for the last 25 years
Remember that installing aftermarket bull bars an affect crumple zone integrity. In the even of an accident your body absorbs more of the impact because the car itself cannot. In theory, pickups would be safer in an impact, providing the collision is with a smaller vehicle. But with the number of pickups on the road, you are just as likely to be crashed into by one of them (most accidents involve bikes and pickups in Thailand). Stability under hard braking / making sudden direction changes, is also a consideration. Pickups are heavy and have a high center of gravity, so are less maneuverable than smaller cars.

Can you PM me with a few closer images? Then I can see if we have something similar or the same ones
Sadly I don't have anymore pics of them.. I've saw them on a truck also here in Buriram... The spokes are like silver on the front side and like a black colour down the side of the spokes..
Ok
Can you PM me so I can send photos of the one's we have that look exactly the same ?

For brakes, I would recommend going to check runstop. They have an upgrade kit for the Ford Fiesta.
Runstop are seriously qualified and deliver a good job.
Ecutuning was mentioned above already. Ecuthailand does a seriously good job
For suspension, I can recommend RSR suspension from Japan.
It's a reasonable price and they offer amazing products.
They come from a reason background in Japan and all products are made in Japan.

Alloys, you can go for the 17' alloys same as a Fiesta ST with high performance tires on it.
(Alloys and tires you can buy from my shop then haha)

I could never get excited about a ''FORD''., now if it was a ''Mercedes'' or a 'BMW'' or a ''Volkswagen'' now that would get me going...
Benz I get, BMW I get if you're talking M or X, but VW?? I don't get that one. I don't get Audi either though - both those brands seem to be having a competition with Toyota for the blandest design possible
VW's Thai site only listed the Sirocco when I check a few weeks ago, so they seem about as bothered with us as we are with them.
VW will be officially represented by the parent company in Thailand soon... But don't get too excited yet, unless you're in the market for an Up!
Did they start building their factory already in Samut Prakan?

Cost down
The cost for that kind of unit with a CPU etc is much cheaper than a normal 2-DIN I guess.
I still prefer a decent 2-DIN system though over those stuck on dash ipad thingies.
*edit: Alpine makes one that kinda looks like that Ipad.

Goodyear Eagle F1 Directional 5 (205/45/R17): 3450 x 4 = 13,800 THB
Goodyear Excellence (215/45/R17): 4450 x 4 = 17,800 THB
Dunlop DZ102 (215/40/R17): 4,500 x 4 = 18,000 THB
Maxxis probably around 3,500 to 3,900 THB

When you upgrade your alloys and tires you need to tell your insurance company to include this into your policy.
Some will add a few baht to the policy some won't. However as it stands now, you will only get 50% of your tire (original suzuki tire) back.
Bought insurance from 3 different companies for my HD. If I changed anything, it required a trip to the office of their agent so they could take pics. And bring a receipt for what you bought if you want them to add it onto the policy.

Seems like my unofficial prices were 9,000 baht off.

Yes Thailand is getting the RS.
Differences between both models are probably going to be the body-kit, badging, and maybe some additional gear.
From Paul Tan's website:
Available equipment on the range topping 1.5 Turbo RS include LED headlamps, LED rear signature lamps, front electrically adjustable seats (eight-way for driver, four-way passenger), dual-zone auto air-con, keyless entry with push start, cruise control, Honda LaneWatch, engine remote start, seven-inch touchscreen audio with Apple CarPlay, navigation, reverse camera and six airbags, among other things.
-
Price for 1.5T = 1,090,000
Price for 1.5T RS = 1,190,000
Price for 1.8EL = 990,000
Price for 1.8 E = 895,000

For now call Ford: 02-686-5899
Explain the situation and ask for advice from them.
Or visit another Ford Dealer.

It's illegal to watch a movie on your 2-Din whilst driving. It's in the Thai traffic law.
-
We have a few cars with them. I personally never had an issue with them and we claimed quite a bit already.
-
The knocking sound was there already I think before the nail even got in the tire.
-
I always tell my staff here that if they really need to change the settings of the seat or steering wheel to return it to original.
We even use mask tape to make sure the length is the same as when the customer came in.
It's a small detail, but customers appreciate it
-
The knock sound from your tire can have 2 main reasons.
- Reason 1: one of the lug nuts isn't torqued correctly so you need to ask the shop that you visited to torque them correctly.
Ask them to use a torque wrench.
- Reason 2: one of the seals of your tires might be broken or defect. In that case they need to replace your tires.
-
The size for the front passenger didn't change in comparison with the previous model.

There are no real disadvantages in getting your car ceramic coated from the start as it will protect your paint-job from scratches, etc.
However, do ask them to also remove the orange peel from the car if you want the best results.
Also go and look online for a few other shops in Bangkok to get a better idea of the price, because some shops can charge up to 45,000 baht for a small car.
While others charge half of that.
If you want a guarantee that the coating is done properly then I recommend glasscoatingclub (G2C) in Ekkamai.
Their staff are trained in Japan at Threebond HQ before they can start to work on cars.
