I know which car I'd prefer to be in
The Smart?
-
Thanks for that Jitar, quiet surprised with the weight comparison, but not unexpected, it is American after all, they are not renowned for their low mass.
The Everest isn't American.
Correct, but it will be visiting the USA in a couple of years
with a V8?

Anything you can't find, PM me. I'll ship these to you. Got a ton of Mighty-X parts, but not in Chiang Mai.

Yeah I know...was quoted ridiculous prices at other shops until I found about SBRAND.
Only 10 minutes from my old house...
They got a real professional guy from Japan doing the difficult repairs.
It looks like they have two locations (one in Pratunam and other one more out of the way)? Which location did you go to?
Srinakarin Road. When I went to Sbrand the Pratunam location didn't exist yet.
-
Just go and take look on their facebook page. They have a lot of before and after photos.
-
How long do they (Sbrand) take for a minor repair? (single scratch less than 10cm)
Best would be to call them, but if you book in advance they normally promise to finish within 1 hour.

For the good stuff go to: http://www.sbrand.co.th/
When I lived in BKK had the 350Z repaired there.
The spot was around 30 cm wide and 10 cm heigh. I paid 3,000 baht for it.

Yes it's the same model as yours.
Set the temperature on 25 or 26, turn off the AC and voila. Nice warm air
Sorry but one month i am few hour cant have any even warm air. i am not talking about HOT air.
so must drive 60-80 kmph.
because if not open aircond only fan its be sweating inside the glass. if open aircon its be out sweating glass and inside car be COLD!!!
Don't know man. All I can see is that our Fortuner blows warm air. If I change the temperature to higher, the air becomes warmer...
-

Price range up to 1mill baht. Sedan, hatchback, pickup or crossover.
Sedan or Hatchback: I think the Mazda 3 is the best looking of all 3 with climate control.
Pickup: Ford Ranger.
Cross-Over: HRV, but not sure it has climate control.

Why all the sarcasm. It's an honest question. This year 7 days cold. Last year in Kalasin more than 3 weeks of cold weather.
Anyway as IMHO mentioned, best to inform what budget you have.
My 4 year old PJS has a heater

Sorry to hear that.
Wait a bit for TMT HQ to investigate this issue and I am sure it will get resolved.
If nothing else works, I will contact some of my old customers in TMT HQ service department to help sort it out.
-
They might call the mother when at immigration to double check.
However, hasn't happened to me in the past.

I've heard people engine swapping for a AE92 4AGE engine.

Lived in Japan for 5 years all together and apart from the occasionally imported F150 and an old school estate (don't even know the name), I have never seen a Ford in Japan.
As for Indonesia, lived there for 3 years when I was a kid and also the name Ford wasn't even mentioned when thinking of buying a car. It's all Suzuki and Toyota...
-
even my old PJS has hot air.

Mazda 3 SP comes with those dials not digital.
I might be wrong here so please correct me if I am, but the Japanese Mazda 3 (Axela) does have a different interior layout.
I think the Axela does come with digital dials instead of the old-style ones....

If you're paying cash and not to fussy about the colour then there is always a good chance of fast delivery since there's usually somebody who doesn't get approval by finance... That's how we got our Mitsu within a fortnight and I guess the same conditions apply to Ford and all the other brands.
Yes I got lucky and received a phone call on Dec 29th would we accept a black titanium + and pay cash. Yes indeed sir, be there in an hour.
Then we are Black EV Titanium + brothers

Thanks for answer. Why you might ask?
- one set of hooks and hinges costs 1,250 THB. One panel on a fortuner needs 2 sets of hinges.
That means 2,500 THB per panel. They are going to try to fix it up with whatever they can until you ask them to replace the hinges.
Why I know?
- Because we have a bodyshop here in Kalasin and for hooks and hinges we buy directly from Toyota.
We fixed our own Fortuner by replacing all the hooks and hinges ourselves.
About Toyota Top on quaity service i know. I have service from Toyota in many country.
Can argue about some model from this is brand. but about the service I had no issues.
Its first time.
About replace . Diller get compesation from brand(Toyota) if raplace part guaranty.
About painting I do not understand. they tried to say that' the paint with no dust in the paint is possible only in conditions of the plant. it is full of a special standard for Thailand? because in other countries, I have not seen this.
The creaking door. I sometimes had on the car (but ots car older 3 year car or even 5, and on ODO up 100k km. This can be corrected by replacing gum, replacement or adjustment of the lock, the door hinge.
Its all cat easy fixed.
So why i sad about.
You're correct that the dealer gets compensation, but they don't really want to wait to get that compensation.
Money with all dealers for all brands is tight these days, so the rather try to fix it up with a few 100 baht of double-sided 3M tape than invest a couple of thousand baht for new hinges.
It's how it is and that's pretty much in every country the same.
What they said about the paint is true to a certain extent. You will never ever get the same result as the factory finish.
NEVER. There will always be a bit of color difference, etc. It's how it is and we have to accept it.
Especially with colors that are difficult to match like pearl white. Normal white. No problem I am sure
The creaking door. Could you just investigate the problem and fix it yourself?
Even my PJS had a creaking door, but a bit of WD40 on the hinges and the creaking was gone...
All I want to say is that for the dealer (is it the dealer where you bought the car?) there isn't much money to be made.
Even if it's a Toyota dealer and you are driving a Toyota they really aren't going to go so far out of their way to help you out.
You have to tell them exactly what you want.
1. Change hooks and hinges please. I don't want 3M tape
-> Dealer will say, but we can try to fix it like this. Then you say ok. I understand.
You call to TMT HQ service line, you open a complain case. Then TMT HQ service will handle it from there with the dealer.
2. Same for paint finish.
3. Creaking door. Probably better to try WD40 or something first.
If it doesn't work. Again TMT HQ service and open a complain case.
I will help you even more so this case can rest.
02-386-2000 OR 1800238444 (24 hour support)
OR email your case to [email protected]

Depends on how big your car is though.
I only had the door panels done for the PJS and paid little over 7000 baht. That's 3 years ago though...
Owner speaks English quite well (I think he went to school in Singapore).
-
Try http://www.sr-sound.com/ on Srinakarin Road or any other audioshop on Srinakarin.
I got my old PJS done at SR sound and they are pretty much as professional as they come.

Me? Sorry about that. Not a native speaker.
Would a Jeep Wrangler Pickup be the best possible vehicle to own in Thailand ?
