It got to be authentic because they have serial numbers on them. The British government borrowed huge some of money from China so one of the terms and conditions is to have chinese characters printed on it.
Just a matter of interest, is Charles Darwin theory still good I mean it was shot down because no missing link was found at all for all the animals and human beings. Just no missing link. Lately I read the theory is being hotly debated and we all waiting anxiously for the outcome.
More missing links every day-

Would not the co-ords of the marital bed be more relevant?

You would disagree it this happen to you?
When you take the cost of a battery and how easy it to change it yourself, I personally wouldn't "change your battery only when you need to".
This was a long long long time ago. I use to ski every weekend and that required a drive of 4 hours each way from my home. After one day in the snow, I started my drive back in the mountains as it was getting dark, after a hour I needed to pull over and take a piss side of the road in no mans land? Getting back to the car, put the key in and click click nothing over and over again. It was freezing! I had to walk over a hour before I was able to find help, that was the last time I waited until I actually needed one.
Sounds like catastrophic failure of battery, alternator, belt or charging circuit. No way to avoid, x setting your alarm for a new car every 12 m. Even then -

Also parking it on concrete in cool weather. That can also cause battery problems

Why doesn't he slow down and stop?
And then doing a turn.
Silly as can be.
He feels it going, then turns to try to save it - an hour or so too late -

Well the first thing that would of worried me is that you said they change the battery every year - I've had my vehicle a good 8 yrs & only changed battery once
Might try a google concerning power cut off as safety feature
Change your battery only when you NEED to.

Someone who will cheat a crippled girl out of her compensation, is about as nasty a low down piece of scum that you can possibly imagine. This piece of filth needs to be found and punished to the maximum letter of the law. I just hope he still has at least some of the money.
I add to that comment, that the fact it has taken so long to get to this point, and it is only through social media that the case is now getting attention, is a damning indictment of the Thai judicial system.

Koh Tao Cops Investigate ‘Suicide’ Of Belgian Tourist

KOH TAO — Surat Thani provincial police said Friday they had ordered officers on Koh Tao island to reopen an investigation into the death of a Belgian tourist previously ruled a suicide.
The move followed news reports that Elise Dallemagne, 30, might have been murdered – contrary to the police’s conclusion back in April. Dallemagne, found dead on April 27, was the latest known foreigner to have died on Koh Tao, an island known for a string of backpackers’ deaths since 2014 that some people found suspicious.
Let's round up the usual Burmese suspects anyway. Oh. They are in jail? Damn!

That well trumps my leaving an expired firearm dealers licence from my home country as my drivers licence for security at a scooter rental place in Luang Prabang some years ago. (P.S. Is "trumps" the correct word in context here or should it be spelled with an upper case "T"?)
Implying respect? Nah.

Interesting.
If the driver had video of them saying they were English 10 quids, then fraud.
Might happen one day - cameras are a coupla hundred baht

And that guess is based on thin air...or...what???
You know what you get if you mix thin air with reality? A dumb bath bus driver! The observation that if they used the fake notes to pay a 20 baht fare (2 x 10) they were risking jail time if caught - so they had to get something more out of it.
Story is very vague, go on, give us your profound insights.

As he was so happy, he was probably aware of the value of 10 GBP.
The question here is how this man really can believe that 2 people want to pay almost 850 each for travel in a bath bus.
This one is as dumb as they come.My guess is he gave change - in which case he is out, bigly. Even yugely, relative.

Well I suppose if the education system deliberately doesn't teach anything about world history or geography, an Indian paying with an English banknote from China makes perfect sense.
