Baby steps for you - since you are still using a Model T...

At least I'm not a thief. As a matter of fact I would drive a model T rather than steal a new car.

  3. With all due respect - why are you screwing around with ancient software? Time for an upgrade. It's almost 2013, not 2001....
I have 9 computers right here in my home office. One is my main squeeze desktop, two are laptops, and 6 are what I call my "lab" which includes a Server and all 6 are connected with just one monitor, one keyboard, and one mouse using a KVM switch. This is where I test things, and I have an image for each in case I blow it up screwing around. My main squeeze an my laptops have Win 7 Ultimate, but the rest are all XP pro except the server. Are you asking me to go buy the latest version of Server, and 8 new copies of Windows 8 today, or is it OK with you if I not spend a couple of grand? XP is going to be in operation for a long, long time.

  4. Funny how the victim is being blamed here <deleted>.

We dont even know what he said or how he said it and yet whatever was said hardly justifies being beaten up.

Do you know what these lowlife pretend katoeys are like in Pattaya?

The majority are men who put a dress on at night with a bit of lippy with the express intention of scamming, robbing tourists.

They are opportunists for the majority out for a quick buck and they are out of control here.

    Karma is a bitch..

  5. Now if we could just get the rest of the TV barstool pundits to get off their lazy butts and do the same - Thailand would really have some progress in this area...

But they won't...because they are lazy.

I agree with this guy - really top notch stuff...

  8. Many years ago I was in the states when my Thai GF asked me to bring her back some Victoria Secret gear. I said you can buy the same in Thailand for half the price, she was adamant the stuff from the states was better.

Guess what the lables on the underware said.... Made in Thailand.

She might not be wrong. The goods produced for export, I have found, DO tend to be of higher quality - because the purchasers in the west demand it. Children's clothes spring to mind. The quality of clothes in a typical Wal Mart (all made in China or Thailand) far exceeds the quality of clothing found in Lotus, or your local market. Higher expectations, higher purchasing power, etc.
