  1. how you can believe any statistic, do you realy think that nay number published by TAT or THA are real, they published what they want to .....

thai tourist bussiness is near to collaps, tussian rubel went down 20 % in the last 10 month, world economic everywhere, but prices in thailand went up, holiday in Phuket, Bkk, Samui costs you more that the same level in Europe, double pricing everywhere, no respect of customers and their needs, and more than 40% of holiday bussines was built up in the last 10 years, so more competition and higher risk in bankrupt, if there will be a bad season there is no back up, a lot of people will loose everything, I live in Chiang Mai, and i have the time for make every month some days holiday, but if 4 days in Phuket or Samui costs me more than a flight to Europe than for sure I wont, CM to Koh Samui return flight with Bkk airways, 48000 Baht for 3 people, to Europe 60000 Baht for 3 people,

  2. Is this the revival of that OTOP system?

No that is much more......There are excellent ideas which also allows to make good money. Decades ago the King had the ideas of organic farming and knew that the prices will be much higher.

Just an example: farming rice without pesticides, by having fishes in the water and ducks. Both eats the pest, are excellent sources of protein, can be sold and the rice is organic and gets much higher prices.

On top of this some farmer should make groups and buy together a rice mill (or however this machine is called) so they can produce a complete finished product and don't need the middle man and have minimal costs themself.

    Just one example of hundreds.

oh yes, everybody buys organic rice from his 4000 baht he earns per month, how much rice he can buy?

no project every will work, if peopel are not educated, and in Thailand 99% of the peopel have not the educational standart of western countrys, they can think by their own, so how they can run any project?

  3. Koh Tao the Island where you can meet real killers in your holidays,

you cant get killed by Ebola but wearing a bikini is much more dangerous

Everybody who make holiday in Koh Tao or nearby Islands is supporting the Thai policy, you not supporting the people,

show the Thais some statement from educated western people: You cant protect criminals and you cant handle things like this,

There is no need to make holidays there, asia have hundreds of nice islands very close, stay away and the problem will be solved,

but you keep going there, everything will be the same, peopel get killed raped and nothing changed, then you are realy what Thai people think of you:

    STUPID WALKING ATM´S

  4. Gen Prayut said the Tourism and Sports Ministry has also been assigned to promote eco-tourism by asking farmers to offer home stay services to foreign tourists so that they would be enable to learn rural lifestyles.

yes show the foreign tourists the newest iphone in a farmers house with no bath or toilet in house and a brand new pick up bought with 200 monthly payments, their daughters dont have to go to Pty to work anymore, they can meet the tourists straigth away in theit village

and dont forget to show the foreign tourists who are 99% green minded people how many tons of pestizides you use per rai ricefild

  5. The problem here is that there isn't really a visa class for 'digital nomads' or whatever it is you want to call them.

As far as immigration is concerned, these people are just the same as Burmese labourers, Russian tour guides or non degree holder English teachers working without a work permit.

Also, going to 'work' in a co-working space is asking for trouble as none of these foreigners will have work permits or Non-B's because they aren't working for a Thai organisation. If you were 'working' under the radar, so to speak, why make yourself a target by going to such a venue?

Look on Twitter and you'll find loads of these self proclaimed digital nomads and online entruprenurs talking openly about 'working' in Thailand. Then in the next post they're complaining about having to renew their ED-Visa!! It's stupid, all Immigration would have to do is check Twitter and they could easily identify many of these people working illegally.

What Thailand needs to do is update its visa laws and welcome digital nomads - but don't hold your breath that will ever happen!

ThE REAL PROBLEM IS: that most of the TV member only make stupid comments, it is not illegal to work with computer, it is only illegal if you do it for a Thai company or for thai customers! No goverment in the world can grant a work permit for working oversee! If they would grant any work permit, the peope would be allowed to work full time in thailand, get insurance. Thailand can not allow/forbit somebody to work for example for a US company or EU company online, they can only take care that peopel who are in Thailand have the right visa like tourist, ED, retirement or what ever

  6. Lets just say its doubtful the results reflect a reliable record of the facts.

Polls never reflect a reliable record of the facts when the results don't show what you want.

the bad thing is that the polls was done only in army baracks,

very funny all the foreigners whow say that the junta is a good thing, would never eaxept a junta in their home country,

live without basic rights is not a solution. and in thailand will never change anything, because there is no education among the peopel and

everything is done to keep it so, even most of the foreigners send their kids to thai schools

  8. The NCPO's chief adviser, General Prawit Wongsuwan, who is also a deputy prime minister and the defence minister, appeared annoyed when asked by reporters about suspicions of favouritism in the selection of NRC members. He said it would be unusual for members of the many selection committees to agree over predetermined candidates.

"If you know how to do it, please let me know," he said.

The answer is ............brown envelopes and/or favours, as if he didn't know.

Favouritism is the act of offering the best job to the most capable person in your opinion.

    Favouritism is not a crime.

Thai people favour Prayuth as PM, so he was elected by more than 97% of the voters.

Is that a crime to favour Prayuth? No. And he was technically elected.

do you think about before you post something?

Prayuth make a armed putch, this is a crime in every country in the world and this is also punished in Thailand with death sentence,

Prayuth put peopel in prison who only use their democratic rights, university discussion are shut down,

it is a crime to choose the people who elect you, it is a farce, and one day he will get his punishment for what he did.

take people their rights, suspend the constitution is a crime, may be not for you, but for every educated a intelligent person

  9. Actually this as a good evolution.

An income of 2.4 times the income of somebody that finished highschool is still pretty high compared to most Western countries.

We've just talking about a bachelor degree here.

In my country somebody with a bachelor degree starts around 1.25 times the income of somebody with a highschool degree.

So, there still a lot of inequality between Thai people.

2,4 is a wish, in Chiang Mai the people with degree starting in private sector with 8 to 10.000 Baht/month

even in 5 star hotels and with more than english language, to many students finish university every year,

it need to work 15 yrears to get the money back what the university costs

  10. Instead of giving the sim cards, why doesn't Kasikorn allow them to open savings accounts without work permits?

Probably because the cost of servicing the account of a genuine tourist would exceed the profit they would earn lending the funds out for a few months' interest.

Ahh, but you see, you are thinking like a Thai. There is money to be made by the funds left in accounts when the people leave. This is also true with people here on work visas. Kasikorn puts the account in suspense. 6 months later, if the account holder does not go to the branch in person, Kasikorn closes the account and takes the money. Happened with dozen of worker accounts where I work.

A missed opportunity for the bank, because the bank bureaucracy is incapable of thinking outside the box.

on a nonO Visa you can open bankaccount In Kasikorn Bank, SCB, Bangkok bank, Krungsi Bank,

may be 1 branch want to see a work permit but then move to the other branch and you can open.

I have 10 accounts in Thailand and never had any work permit, it takes only some time to look for the right branch, easier in Koh Samui, Phuket, Bkk or Chiang Mai, where a lot of foreigners living,

  11. Aw shucks guys, the parents can't do it. They are steeped in conservatism and welled up with hangups. This applies to my home country as well.

Sexually active and curious youngsters need a neutral non judgmental third party for support and to hand out contraceptives and to give advice confidentially. If it's not confidential it won't work and they will be doing it anyway because it feels so good.

The key in my personal experience was confidentiality. Yes, we are having sex, now what have we got to do to do it properly? I needed a trusted third party, the nurse. Deny the adolescents this and they'll just do it anway.

We've got an infant here in the village from a 13 y/o... The young mommy was too shy to ask her parents and there was no confidential school nurse.

you believe also in Santa Claus or?

  12. how uneducated parents, teachers or relatives can educated thai kids who never get any education in their life,

their can not produce any logical thinking since they are born because never teached, and then they should understand

such a complex matter like safer sex, pegnancy, relations ships, responsibility something what no thai ever learnt or even know what it is or eman, is the basic for sexual education

  13. OP is not a clever guy. Stating he has 4 employees and can not reach ONE of them, not even by phone ? How ridiculous can one act, com'on !

Also if you "work from home" on your computer, WHY wake up sleeping dogs by applying for Work permit and other stuff ??? beatdeadhorse.gif.pagespeed.ce.adWp7jUAu

if you working home by internet for companys outside thailand, you do not need any workpermit or staff or built a company,

it is useless, also for staying in Thailand this way is useless, just get a tourist Visa or learn Mue Thai or any language in a certifficated school,

  14. Don't assume that the VIN # will work with an American bank (assuming you are using one), because it will not work.

the VIN Code is an international standart and in all countrys of the world the same, and the VIN Code has more than 10 digits, may be I am wrong but should be at least 14 digits, you can read out a VIN code everything, producer, date of production, model, country of origin, and every original dealer or insurance broker can give you the information if you have the VIN code
