    Sitting on all them assets and not generating income from any off it is crazy imo,reminds me of a local thai whi was asking my misses for some help tonrent his land out last week,the guy has got 20 rai nor sor sam title, i told him to sell some of it answer no want to keep it in the family, this guy lives in a wooden shack the land would sell around the 1 million per rai mark, the guy could be richer than he ever dreamed of,i then told him build house on it then and sell it to the oldest ferang you can on a 30 year lease this went way over his head,he will never sell the land cause he dont want to end off.

    OP don't get offended, some people on here are just bitter at your drive and panache for life. So as to help I have rewritten your intro to better explain yourself to the expats here.

    Hi everybody I am after meeting people who can pretty much show me how to make a living whilst sitting on my arse doing ... all as I have failed back in the west but am still convincing myself I am young and vibrant at 26.
    The fact I never left home or got a job counts not in my proposal to become an international jet set millionaire with your ideas, help, funding, accommodation, transport and last but not least pity.

    I got stuck walking behind two grossly overweight Chinese people and for the life of me couldn't get past. They don't give a toss but seem quite happy when others don't so swings and roundabouts.

    People Made To Disappear In Los

    Just reading a few posts about how people kind of drop off the map here has anybody heard any interesting stories about people disappearing?

    I mean all the way in the boonies with no connection to the outside world if you disappeared through nefarious intent who would really notice, or care?

    There must be loads of farangs pushing up daisies or weighted down in the nearest deep water who no one will ever be the wiser about.

    No problems here my landlord would track me to the end of the earth if I didn't show in a timely fashion!

    Ah yes.

    I always seem to catch them in packs of two. Females usually.

    They seem to prefer pointing into the distance at something then pushing off into the traffic with little to no regard to on coming traffic.

    Another favourite is to stop in the middle of a busy junction to discuss future routes.

    Suppose its all meant to be.

    If anything I am bored to death of beer, bar girls and the 'scene'.

    I suppose I am lucky in that I can exit the scene where as the workers must remain seeing the same types over and over again and get a bit jaded and weary.

    I think I know a cause of a few if the incidents. The bogey on the drink and towel girls had just been dumped by long term boyfriends and were probably in the I hate all men mode.

    Well that was my crazy intro here in los. Probably very similar to a lot of others and more than likely a little too tame for many.

    Or maybe I am just a horrendous person for cutting through all the bullxxxx and lies.

    I trust the British, Australian and Americans.

    The colonials are no where near as bad as some paint them.

    I quite like the Germans, Japanese and Koreans too.

    French, not for me slimy little buggers at best.

    Thais are great/not so great depending on how beneficial you can be to them. Watch how that friendliness turns sour once they realise you are not fresh off the boat and want to buy them land/house/business in their name woo hoo!
