Do you not take the time to read the report or just rush to your keyboard at the sight of any headline? The man was named in the first paragraph after the headline.

Don't forget to bring some Branston Pickle.
Make your own Branston here at a fraction of Villa price.
Can't find a recipe for pretend HP sauce though.

Had a similar problem with my J7 a few months ago in the big flood of 2017.
Samsung service centre in Silom quoted me 6K baht for a new screen and mother board.
Bought a Huawei GR5 2017.

This is the least thing that is making Thailand a world laughing stock with this government.

Couldn't find any drug dealers in those areas? --- surprising.
How about using plain clothed farang tourist police and NOT announcing it in advance.-
I have noticed no mention here of the evil scum of loan sharks preying on the Thai staff working in these areas.
You can see as many as six patrolling in popular nighttime tourist sois at a time.

Does anyone know of an engineer in the Bangkok area that can replace a drive belt on an INDESIT tumble drier? Indesit does not seem to have a service or sales department in Thailand.
I've watched a YouTube instruction video and it looks too complicated for words.Thanks.

It's sad when those people can't get to a park after work because the traffic is so bad and there are so few of them. In fairness there are bigger and better parks than this one at Asoke and Phrom Phong, but still, any green space is welcomed and we need more of it not less.
Seriously, who goes park surfing after work lol... Get me to a bar asap!
How about a park with a bar in it?
Seems to be illegal.

Has everyone forgotten how this space became Chuvit Park?
It involved men in black and bulldozers. Many stallholders losing their livelyhoods.
Google it.

The best rates are usually from the Super Rich booths or branches.
There are many in Bangkok but I do not know of their locations in Pattaya.
A friend in Jomtien tells me that he gets his best rates in a yellow coloured booth next to Bamboo bar.

I have the same Hi Speed internet, cable and mobile package in Nonthaburi, 50 MD download and 20MB upload. Free installation, the arrived at the promised time, True even phoned if we where satisfied with the crew.
So I presume that what the O.P. experienced is another typical Isaan story.
Or perhaps they were a tad put off by his juvenile cursing and names referring to the staff -- seems like a bully to me.

I also used ABN AMRO.
If I withdraw cash, I use SCB ATM machines. They always give you the choice of the DCC or local rates, just refuse the DCC. ABN also limit the cash withdrawals to 10k per day.
I say 'used to use ABN' but they have decided to close the accounts of customers resident outside Nederland! So goodbye ABN AMRO after 30 years.

Thanks everyone for your advice.
It was two sheets of A4 folded into a normal envelope.
I took it to the government postoffice near NaNa skytrain station.
The office was not what I was expecting at all ------- it was airy, clean modern and not busy. I took a number and a cheery counter assistant was waving me over.
I asked for registered airmail and it was 86 baht to Holland. The ladies English was excellent.
I was given a receipt which was all in Thai. I dicovered that the numbers on it ending in TH was the tracking number.
It seems to track it only to Suvarnabhumi and not to it's foreign destination.
Thanks again.

Thanks so much.

Thanks Sheryl and Charlie.
Charlie do you send it Reg. airmail from one of these small (private?) offices everywhere or from a government postoffice?

I have documents that I need to get to Holland by the 28th July.
Is the only option DHL/EMS at about1,300 Baht?
Does the regular Thai post have an alternative (I believe about 80 Baht but 3 weeks)?
Thanks.

That took you, HKT, less than a minute to work that out AND reply.
I wonder how Inactive pondered on it before rushing to their keyboard.
